Welcome to November! The All About Autumn Designer Paper has been in and out of stock more than any Stampin’ Up! item, since I’ve been a Demonstrator. I finally got my hands on some, and, yes, it is gorgeous! Today, I’m showing off two of the patterns on a “Double Z Fun Fold Card.”
First, I cut a piece of 8 1/2″ X 11″ Early Espresso Cardstock in half, 4 1/4″ X 11″, and scored it at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″. You can use the other half to make a second card.
The two smaller panels were decorated with All About Autumn DSP, 2 5/8″ X 4 1/8″. I cut a second piece of a different landscape for the larger panel, 5 3/8″ X 4 1/8″.

All About Autumn
After gluing the panels, I cut a band for the bottom from Early Espresso Cardstock, 11″ X 1 1/4,” scored at 5 1/2″ and 2 3/4″. The band was decorated with three strips of All About Autumn DSP, which I had cut from the panel pieces. The long strip is 5 3/8″ X 1 1/8″, and the two shorter strips are 2 5/8″ X 1 1/8″.
The branch was cut with a Meadow Die, also from All About Autumn DSP. I backed it with two layers of Early Espresso Cardstock, for sturdiness, before gluing it in place. I made sure not to put glue on the end that hangs over the edge.
The trickiest part of the Double-Z Fun Fold is fastening the band. It seems odd, but the long section of the band is glued to the short front section. I find it easiest to apply glue to the folded band, because this exposes only the part that should have glue. Then, fold the card while adhering the band in place. I suggest having a “dry” run before applying glue.
“Sunshine to brighten your day,” and “comfort & strength,” are from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiments in VersaMark on Early Espresso Cardstock, and sprinkled with White Embossing Powder. After setting with a Heat Tool, I used Sending Dies for cutting, and attached them with Mini Dimensionals.
For some sparkle, I added a few Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins.
This Double Z Fun Fold card fits nicely inside our Medium Envelopes, and Basic White Cardstock can be glued to the back for a personal message.
I was inspired by The Paper Players, and chose the middle row across: patterned paper, die-cut, sequin/enamel dots. Plus, I used brown and fall items.
