I created a card, using this design, nearly three years ago. Since it has been one of my most popular cards on Pinterest, I thought I’d give it another try. First, I created a stencil with the second smallest, square, Stylish Shapes Die and Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, cutting out four squares. Then, I placed the stencil on top of identical cardstock, securing it with my hand. A Blending Brush and Strawberry Slush Ink were used to color the squares. 

Stenciling and Roses

Next, I stamped two roses, and the sentiment, in Memento Black Ink.The roses are from the Along These Lines Stamp Set, and the sentiment is from the Blooming Phrases Stamp Set. Both are in my Product List below.

After stamping the roses and sentiment, I glued the layer to a Basic Black card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. To add some sparkle I attached five Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems.
