Red and green are perfect Christmas colors, but they are also perfect colors for the Apple Harvest Stamp Set! And, I’ve been thinking about this set, because I need to encourage you to get the coordinating Apple Blossom Dies while they are available. The original price of the Apple Blossom Dies Set was $35.00, but it’s on sale for $14.00! Plus, the Apple Harvest Stamp Set is carrying over, so it will continue to be popular. Have I convinced you?
I had fun coloring the apples, leaves, and branch with Stampin’ Blends in three colors: Real Red, Granny Apple Green, and Soft Suede. Prior to coloring, I stamped the image in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used its Apple Blossoms Die for cutting.

Promoting Apple Blossoms Dies
The background was created with Basic White Cardstock, 3″ X 5 1/4″, given a textured pattern with the Stitched Greenery Die, and a detailed edge with an Apple Blossoms Die. This was backed with Brights 6″X 6″ Designer Paper in Granny Apple Green, showing a 5/16″ strip.
The card base is Shaded Spruce, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “The greatest gift is a good friend,” is from the Apple Harvest Stamp Set. I stamped it in Shaded Spruce Ink, used another Apple Blossoms Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. You can see the entire Apple Blossoms Die Set and Apple Harvest Stamp Set by clicking on the pictures in my Product List below.

Today’s card combines my favorite, Reindeer Dies, with new favorites, Tree Ring Dies and its Hybrid Embossing Folder. These are wonderful sets, and the great news is, they are carrying over and will be available for a long time! Right now, you can order them in bundles, which includes the stamp sets, for a 10% savings. They are in my Product List below.
I began by using the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder with Basic White Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″. Then , I used the Tree Rings Die to cut to tree rings from Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper, followed by embossing them.

Ringed With Nature
Next I used more Tree Ring Dies to cut the leaves, branches, and berries from Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper. After assembling, I glued the white embossed layer to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The scene was so inviting, a reindeer came to visit. He was cut from Early Espresso Cardstock with a Reindeer Die.

The reindeer said he wanted to say “so very merry.” I happened to find the exact words in the Trees For Sale Stamp Set, which I stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink, fussy cut, and placed on Dimensionals.

I was inspired by TGIF.

The Gnomes Dies make the cutest gnomes, don’t you think? I spied a gnome yesterday morning, darting around in a Christmas tree lot, and he was a little upset that I found him. He asked if I could help him be camouflaged, so this is what we did:
His beard and nose were already cut from Basic White Cardstock, and his nose was colored with an Ivory Stampin’ Blend. I added his hat, cut from Regals 6″ X 6″ Designer Paper in Shaded Spruce plaid, and his pants and shoes, cut from Shaded Spruce Cardstock. He was pleased with his outfit, and confident he could hide among the trees.

Whimsical Gnome
The trees were embossed on Basic White Cardstock with the Whimsical Woodland Embossing Folder, and colored with a Blending Brush and Shaded Spruce Ink. To complete the tree lot, I glued the trees to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, the gnome told me how he loves this time of year, and wanted to make a sign for the tree lot. He said the Kindest Gnomes Stamp Set had the perfect words for his sign, “Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.” Following his directions, I stamped the words on Thick Basic White Cardstock in Shaded Spruce Ink, and used a Natural Prints Die for cutting.
I even decorated the bottom of the sign with three, Fine Sparkle Gems, per request. As soon as the gnome approved the sign, he said thank you, and scurried away. I don’t know if we’ll see him again before Christmas. But, everyone who comes to this tree lot will feel welcomed by his sign.

4 Seasonal Sale Products
Next, I used a Decorated Pine Die to cut the pine bough from a Copper Foil Sheet.

The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 5″, embossed with the Merry Melody Embossing Folder. This was glued to a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink on Basic White Cardstock, cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die, and attached with Dimensionals. “From our home to yours,” is from the Leaves Of Holly Stamp Set.
Tucked under the sentiment label are two, Jingle Bell Trinkets. They are metal, flat, and attached with Glue Dots. Aren’t they cute?

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Home for the Holidays, so the design team created a project for the holiday of their choice. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I love making Christmas cards, and the Leaves of Holly Bundle has become one of my favorites. It has a wonderful label die with sentiments to stamp inside. Today, it is Basic White Cardstock, with “Christmas Wishes” stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink.
The leaves on the label can be left open, or backed with die-cut paper. For today’s card, I used a green portion of the gorgeous, Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper. Do you see the tiny border of green? It was created by cutting a second label in green, and fitting the thin, green, strip, around the white label.

Holly for Christmas
The other leaves and berries were cut from Boughs of Holly Designer Paper, giving a variation in color. And, the overlays add wonderful texture!

The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, embossed with a Wintry Embossing Folder. It’s a narrower embossing folder, so I ran it though the machine twice to cover the entire card front. This layer was glued to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, the leaves were raised on Dimensionals, and my Christmas card was complete.

Thank you for visiting, and enjoy the holidays!

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on December 14th. Our theme will be Last Minute Gift/Card Ideas.

I’m having a great time using the new, Framed Florets Dies in my designs, and for today’s card, I combined an oval with the Regal Reindeer Bundle. I intended for the oval to be the focal point, but the Reindeer said he was. I’ll let you decide.
First, I used a Blending Brush to apply Mint Macaron Ink to Basic White Cardstock. Second, I stamped the trees in Mint Macaron Ink on the brushed color, and used a Framed Florets Die for cutting. Third, I used the same oval to cut Mint Macaron Cardstock, and glued the frame portion to the trees. The trees are from the Regal Reindeer Stamp Set.

Reindeer’s Trees
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 14″, embossed on the top half with a Wintry Embossing Folder. This layer was glued to a Mint Macaron card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

After gluing the trees in place, I cut the “snow” from Thick Basic White Cardstock, using a Regal Reindeer Die, and glued it along the bottom of the layer.
The sentiment and marks in the snow are from the Regal Reindeer Stamp Set. “Peace on Earth” was stamped in Cajun Craze Ink, and the marks in Soft Suede Ink.

Now, for the reindeer, who was cut with a Reindeer Die from Soft Suede Cardstock. He said, since he was the focal point, he wanted to wear a Cajun Craze scarf, knowing there was a perfect little die in his Reindeer Die Set.
I attached his body and head with Dimensionals, glued his hoofs and legs, and left his antlers free. He was pretty proud of his card, and couldn’t wait for me to share it on TGIF!

I was inspired by TGIF.
