Christmas is around the corner, so today the Kre8tors Blog Hop is all about Christmas. I’m sharing some small gift packaging that is “quick & easy.” These are Mini Pizza Boxes, which come flat, 8 in a package. All you have to do is fold them together. You’ll find them in my Stampin’ Up! Product List at the bottom of this post.
Mini Pizza Boxes
Who doesn’t like pizza? Actually, the boxes are too small for pizza; at least for the amount I like to eat. But the size, 3 1/2″ X 3 1/2,” is perfect for small gifts, and can be decorated as your heart desires.
For decorating, I chose 3 patterns of Dash Along Designer Series Paper, cutting the top piece (3 1/4″ X 3 1/4″) and four sides 3 1/4″ X 3/4″.
Then, I cut three deer (Detailed Deer die) from Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, and layered them with Gray Granite cardstock for thickness.
After gluing the DSP and deer to the three boxes, all that remained was ribbon to keep the recipients from peeking. I selected three different ties: Polka Dot Tulle, Garden Green & White Baker’s Twine, and Braided Linen Trim.
How will I use my Mini Pizza Boxes? Since I love Essential Oils, I enjoy giving Young Living oils as gifts. Valor was the first oil I used four years ago, and remains one of my favorites. Not only does it have a fabulous fragrance, it gives me confidence on the tennis court. This little box is the perfect size for holding it!
Because my Product List is short, I pictured the Stampin’ Trimmer, which I use every, single day. It’s lightweight and easy to use, making measuring and cutting a breeze. It doesn’t fit in the Mini Pizza Box, but it would make a great gift for someone.

Today, I applaud Facebook!
I really like how it shares past memories with you. This was the first thing on my feed this morning:
Two years ago today, I was sharing my favorite Christmas gift. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a remote controlled diffuser by Young Living. Diffusers come in all shapes and sizes, but this is my fanciest one. It plays music, and covers the largest square footage with its oily goodness.
I simply add water, and several drops of essential oils, whatever I feel I need that day. With Purification (an oil blend) it eliminates cooking odors, or with Citrus Fresh it makes the room smell amazing. Peppermint is great for stimulating the brain, and in the morning or late afternoon, I definitely need that! Joy (another blend) fills me with just that. I keep it in the kitchen, where it is centrally located, and guests can enjoy the benefits.
I have a smaller diffuser beside my bed, where I diffuse “sleep” oils every night, usually Lavender and Cedarwood. Sleep was a problem for me in the past, so I also apply oils directly to my skin, Tranquil, StressAway, and Sara. Sometimes I change it up with other combinations, but getting a good night’s sleep can be life changing.
Two years later, my diffuser is still going strong. If you’d like a diffuser of your own, please comment, or private message me. I’d love to help you get one.

Lots of Lavender is one of the first FREE, Sale-A-Bration, stamp sets I received with my Occasions 2018 pre-order. I chose it because I adore seeing fields of Lavender, and for the health benefits of Young Living Lavender Essential Oil. I put drops of it in my diffuser every night at bed time, so I’ll get a good night’s sleep. So, I was looking forward to playing with this new stamp set, and this is my first project:
Lots of Lavender
I began by stamping the lavender bouquet in Chocolate Chip ink on Whisper White cardstock. Rather than use the stamps that come with the set for splashing on color, I used our Stampin’ Blends to make it precise. I’ll enjoy using the “correct” method another time.
The Stampin’ Blend colors are: Light and Dark Rich Razzleberry, Light and Dark Old Olive and Bronze.
You might be wondering about the Stitched Shape square and circle. There really was a reason behind it, and it happens to be this week’s CAS(E) this sketch:
I decided to add dimension to my bouquet by using the dies. I first cut the circle, then the square. For texture, I embossed the paper with the hole in the middle with the Garden Trellis Folder.
I stamped “Beautiful Friend” (Beautiful Peacock stamp set) on the square before adding dimensionals, and placing it over its hole. I doubled the dimensionals on the circle, so it would be a little higher.
CAS(E) this sketch helped the creation of a unique card. I know I wouldn’t have thought of this on my own. Thank you!
I’m usually posting my handmade cards, but I had to let you know about this new catalog, hot off the press! You may have noticed “aromas” in my web site title, and that’s because essential oils are an important part of my life. The oils are so much more than aromas, and getting a good night’s sleep is just one reason I’m hooked. Since discovering them 3 1/2 years ago, my husband and I are feeling better and better. I think that’s why they call it “Young Living.” Or, it could be that the founder’s name is “D. Gary Young.” Or, both!
I’m happy to share the 2017 Holiday Catalog with you:

I haven’t been one to wear much make-up. What I do wear, fits in a very small bag: lipstick, compact powder, blush, eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow (sometimes). I’ve only used the brush that comes with the blush, and let me tell you, it’s nothing like these brushes.
I recently experienced these brushes at a “make-over.” I think they were the softest things I’ve ever felt on my face. I was amazed. The reason I was there was to learn about the new Savvy Minerals make-up that is toxin free. I trust Young Living for the purity of their essential oil products that I breathe in, apply to my skin, and take in supplements, so I was curious about this new make-up line. I thought it would be worth a try to eliminate the chemicals I’ve been applying to my face all these years. Here’s some of what I learned about the brushes.
“Essential Brush Set

The brush set was so in demand when it was introduced, it sold out immediately. I was able to order it yesterday, so it’s available now. I’ve received some of the make-up with more on the way. I’ll keep you posted on my venture into chemical free make-up land. If not interested, just tune me out. If you are, I can get you connected.
Since I’ve been spending a lot of time sitting and making cards, I have to make sure I get enough exercise and eat properly. I try to take care of myself, and found that essential oils benefit me in many ways. You may have noticed in my “About Me” that I’m passionate about essential oils, and specifically, Young Living. This company impressed me with the purity of their oils through their Seed to Seal guarantee, and the fact that they own their own farms.
I love ice cream and shakes, especially in the summer. I still indulge, but I found a healthy alternative, and I’d like to share with you one of their products that isn’t an oil, but a nutritious and delicious drink, called Pure Protein Plus.
I mix the Protein Powder in 1% milk, add ice and blend. It calls for two scoops, but I use less, and you can use water or other milk, and shake instead of putting in a blender. You can also add fruit or get creative with flavoring, but I like it as is. And, I think I’m liking the Vanilla even better than the chocolate, but that’s just me.
It isn’t cheap for a drink, but this is a meal substitute. Looking at it that way, it’s a good deal. You can see the size of the bag. I drink it for health and not weight loss, but I have a friend who recently started enjoying it, and has lost 27 pounds in a short period of time. Here is the ingredients label:
If you think you might like to try it, I’m here to walk you through the purchasing process. I’m off to blend up my lunch, and then head to my craft room.
