You may have overlooked Wee, but please note, she is a small kiwi bird from the Count On Me Stamp Set. (She asked me to say that). She also asked me to stamp her in Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and make her come to life by cutting her free, and coloring her with Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends.

Wee’s card

Wee thinks Gray Granite is the prettiest color on the planet, and chose it for the card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.  Wee loves tiny dots, and said to find the perfect, Pattern Party Designer Paper, to use for her background. Then, she wanted me to give it a border, using the largest Ornate Layers Die.

For the sentiment, Wee wanted me to stamp “Birthday,” from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set, in Tuxedo Black Ink on Gray Granite Cardstock, to match the card base. She hadn’t seen the Eden Die I used for cutting, because it’s an early release, and not available until November 2nd. She thought it would be impolite, if I didn’t explain the details, so I listed them below.

Wee wasn’t sure how to use the Playful Alphabet Dies, and thought I should explain it to you also.

I attached a 1″X 3″ piece of striped, Pattern Party Designer Paper, to a 1″ X 3″ piece of Foam Adhesive Sheet, placed the  letters on top, and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Then, I turned the letters upside down, and ran it through a second time to make sure it was a good cut.

The Foam Adhesive Sheet is an easy way to give the small letters wonderful dimension, and it’s easy to peel the backing and stick them to the card front. We were both “happy” to see how the five letters fit perfectly.

Wee hopped on the “Y,” very pleased with her birthday card.

Wee wanted to share her card with the Paper Players, because she said it was “clean-and-simple,” and definitely a birthday card.

Eden’s Garden will be available November 2nd, two months before the new Spring catalog is available. You’re going to want this “early release!”
