Today’s card features the Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Paper and Delicate Pines die-cuts. I began with a beautiful pattern of the designer paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, glued to a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I cut Lost Lagoon Cardstock 3″ X 4 1/4″, and topped it with Basic White Cardstock 1/8″ smaller. After gluing the two together, I embossed it with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder, and glued it to the center of the card front.

Elegant Pine Snowflakes

Next, I used a Delicate Pines Stamp and Garden Green Ink to stamp pine branches on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used Delicate Pines Dies for cutting, along with leaves from Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP. I used two more Delicate Pines Dies to cut berries from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, and a white, pine snowflake from Basic White Cardstock.

After preparing the pieces above, I arranged them beneath a sentiment label, cut from Basic White Cardstock with a Stylish Shapes Die. “Merry Christmas” is from the Jolly Holly Stamp Set, stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink, and the label is attached with Dimensionals.

My design ended up looking much like Jennifer Brum’s at Freshly Made Sketches. Thank you for the inspiration, Jen!
