For my last post of May, I’m showing you another way to use the new Birds & Branches Bundle. This circle die is truly amazing! Just use it to cut through the card front for a “peek-a-boo” card.

“Peek-a-boo”
The card base is our new Just Jade color. Isn’t it pretty? And, the great news is, you get to order it June 3rd! That’s when our 2020-2021 Annual Catalog goes live, meaning we all get to order everything we love from the new catalog! You can see details of this bundle in my Product List below.
After cutting the circle, I used a second fabulous die in the set to cut the edge. Can you imagine the fun you’ll have with this die?!

I created the pretty bird by stamping her in Mango Melody Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and cutting with a third die in the set. I glued her to the bottom of the circle, and backed her with a plain white die-cut on the back for support.
Next, I used a fourth die in the set to cut some extra branches from Just Jade Cardstock to surround the circle, adding foliage for the bird.
And, I completed the card front with a few, little Pearls.

The inside has “happy birthday” from the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set, stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink.
TIP: I made sure the sentiment was in the right spot before stamping, because of the “peek-a-boo” circle.

I’m really excited about the coming month of June. I love the warm, summer days with long daylight hours. And, I love what Stampin’ Up! has in store for us! Come back tomorrow when I’ll announce the winner of May’s drawing for the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set and Small Bloom Punch.
Plus, you’ll get to see June’s Host Code gift and the stamp set for June’s drawing.

Thanks for visiting me today. Bye bye May, hello June! See you tomorrow!

Beautiful card! How did you cut the edge of the card? I can’t see how you put the card and die in the big shot to cut it. Did you do a video for this? I just love it!
Awesome design!!! Your card wonderfully showcases this bundle!
Su, this is a delightful creation! Love the peekaboo card front with the added leafy vine edge and extra branches on outside. By using a single color for all of those details, it keeps the design CAS, which is you specialty! A++ once again! TFS
PS I really appreciate that you include the dies you used in your photos of the completed cards. I like to do photo saves of special cards and this makes it a snap to chase down the products used. I also like that you have your name/blogpost watermarked on each one, it reminds me where to look to find how-to make info.
Beautiful as usual
Su, I agree with Jeanne! Your cards are amazing. I look forward to your posts every day.
