The Hand-Lettered Prose Dies were perfect to use for today’s color challenge.

Bright “happy”
The color challenge is from Fab Friday:
First, I used a stamp from the Waterfront Stamp set to stamp rows of the colors on Whisper White Cardstock.
Then, I used the the letters, “h-a-p-y,” to cut “happy” from my striped paper, and layered the letters for thickness. Can you see the stamp I used from Waterfront?
“Birthday” is from the Well Said Stamp Set, stamped in Pacific Point Ink, and cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die.
For the background, I thought the bright letters would look great against white, and decided to emboss the Whisper White Cardstock with the Brick & Mortar Embossing folder.
I appreciate you visiting my blog, and it gives me pleasure to share my ideas with you. Enjoy shopping at my store, and have a happy day!
Product List
You did an awesome job and makes me want to jump in and create.
Any chance you could do a video on this, especially for the portion of stamping colors on different portions of the Waterfront stamp set.
Thank you, Christine! I’ve done a few videos, and it isn’t easy. Therefore, it keeps going to the back burner, but maybe one of these days. I appreciate your interest, and happy I made you feel like jumping!
Love the way you used the stamp set to create your watercolor background. Beautiful! Also, so glad you used the Brick and Mortar 3D folder because it reminded me to add it to my wish list pre-order.
Thank you, Sue! Always happy to help with a wish list!
Hi, I wonder if I am the only one who read the letters you used and thought – Happy has two “p’s”. It was only a brief moment but it made me smile! Love the card – great inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Jane, yes, I had to cut two “ps,” and the photo of the letters I used looks odd. I’m glad I made you smile!
Wow Su, love how you used one stamp to make those gorgeous letters. You have sold me on buying that let of letters in my next order. Very cool!
Thank you, Lynn! These are great letters, and the price is right too, $38.00 for the entire alphabet!
So cute, Su – love that new EF – looks wonderful behind your colorful letters! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
Thank you, Heather! It makes me “happy” that you like it!
Beautiful, as always!
