Stampin’ Fancy Friday “Going Dotty” Challenge

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This month’s challenge is “Going Dotty.”

The dotted, Country Lace Designer Paper, makes a wonderful background for my wildflowers. I used an Online Exclusive, Textured Notes Die, for cutting the Petal Pink DSP. Then, I glued it to a Petal Pink card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Wildflowers on Dotted Background

Next, I used three Thoughtful Wishes Dies to cut the wildflowers from Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper. These have been favorites from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. After cutting the flowers, I arranged them, partially gluing them to the background.

The sentiment, “You are seriously the best,” is from the Textured Notes Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink on Thoughtful Journey DSP, used a Textured Notes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the design, I added three Iridescent Foil Gems.

Stampin’ Fancy Friday “Amour” Challenge

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This month’s challenge is “red or pink amour.”

Hanging a heart from a tree branch was an idea that came to me, and I created, years ago. For today’s card I’m using a variety of new products. I began by using a Hearts Of Elegance Die to cut two hearts from Bloom Impressions Designer Paper. This paper is one of the FREE Sale-a-bration items, only available until February 28, or while supplies last.

By Su Mohr for Stampin' Fancy Friday; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Hearts Of Elegance, Bloom Impressions DSP, Heart Shaped Bundle, Delightful Wishes, Country Woods, Around It All Dies, Eyelet Embossing Folder; #heartsofelegance #bloomimpressions #heartshapedbundle #sale-a-bration #delightfulwishes #countrywoods #arounditall #eyeletembossing #hearts #valentines #stampinfancyfriday

Tree Branch Heart

The wonderful, tree branch was cut with a Delightful Wishes Die from Country Woods Designer Paper. I gave it dimension by layering it on cardstock.

The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, glued to a Melon Mambo card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to gluing, I created a stencil with an Around It All Die, and colored the odd shaped circle with a Blending Brush and Melon Mambo Ink. Then, I gave it texture with the Eyelet Embossing Folder.

The sentiment, “my heart loves your heart” is from the Heart Shaped Bundle, another FREE Sale-a-bration item. I stamped it in Melon Mambo Ink, and used a Delightful Wishes Die for cutting. After gluing the label on top of the heart, I attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the card, I added three, Shiny Sequins.

Stampin’ Fancy Friday “Bold & Bright”

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This month’s challenge is “bold & bright.”

I created two “fun fold” cards with six of Stampin’ Up’s bright colors; one in portrait, and one in landscape orientation.

By Su Mohr for Stampin' Fancy Friday; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Hearts Of Elegance Bundle, Full Of Life Designer Paper, Something Fancy Dies, Friends For Life Dies; #brightandbold #stampinfancyfriday #funfoldcards #hearts #birthdaycards #valentines #heartsofelegance #fulloflife #friendsforlife #handmadecards #handcrafted #diy #cardmaking #papercrafting #stampinup #sumohr

Bright & Bold Fun Fold Cards

For the birthday card, I stamped the heart, from the Hearts Of Elegance Bundle, in Granny Apple, Green Lemon Lime Twist, and Pumpkin Pie. After stamping the hearts on Basic White Cardstock, I used their Hearts Of Elegance Die for cutting, along with three, plain, white, hearts for backing. Next, I cut Thick Basic White Cardstock, 7″ X 5 1/4″, folded at 3″, creating the fun fold. The front was decorated with Full Of Life Designer Paper in the same bright colors, 2 3/4″ X 5″. After gluing the hearts in place, I stamped “Happy Birthday,” from the So Sincere Stamp Set, used a Friends For Life Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. The last step was gluing this white card base to Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″, and adding three Shiny Sequins.

The inside was stamped with “Knowing you brings joy to my heart,” also from the So Sincere Stamp Set. This picture shows how the hearts look with backing.

The Valentine fun fold was created a bit differently. I began with a Petunia Pop card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I glued Full Of Life Designer Paper to the front, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and simply cut 1 inch off the card front. This time I stamped the hearts in Petunia Pop, Berry Burst, and Melon Mambo. “Happy Valentine’s Day”  is from the Hearts Of Elegance Stamp Set, and Something Fancy Dies were used for cutting.

The sentiment inside is also from the Hearts Of Elegance Stamp Set.

Stampin’ Fancy Friday “Pretty in Plaid” Challenge

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration.

This month is a “Pretty in Plaid” challenge.

I chose a red and green plaid from Iconic Celebrations Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and glued it to a Basic Beige card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Once I had my plaid background, I stamped the the Happy Hibiscus in Real Red Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock, and used its Happy Hibiscus Die for cutting. Then, I used its Happy Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder to give it texture, and colored the stamen with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend.

By Su Mohr for Stampin' Fancy Friday; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring! Happy Hibiscus Bundle, Iconic Celebrations DSP, Merry Tags & More Dies, Greetings Of The Season Bundle; #happyhibiscus #hibiscus #stampinfancyfriday #iconiccelebrations #plaid #merrytagsandmoredies #greetingsoftheseason #christmascards #handmadecards #cardmaking #artisans

Hibiscus and Plaid

Next, I used a Happy Hibiscus Die to cut three leaves from Basic White Cardstock, and colored them with a Blending Brush and Mossy Meadow Ink. Then, I glued the leaves to the flower, and attached it to a tag with Dimensionals. The tag was cut with a Merry Tags & More Die from Basic Beige Cardstock, which I attached to the card front with Dimensionals.

For the sentiment, I used Glimmer Paper to cut “Merry,” which was also cut with a Merry Tags & More Die. “Christmas” is from the Greetings Of the Season Stamp Set, stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock. I used its Greetings Of The Season Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
