I had just finished making my Christmas cards, when the little Christmas bird asked that I make one more, featuring her name.
The little bird (Birds and Blooms dies) was so pretty (Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper), with the perfect name, Noel (Large Letters dies), I couldn’t resist.
I cut the letters N-O-E-L from a piece of red gingham from Christmas Quilt DSP, and triple layered them.

The Christmas Bird Named Noel
We weren’t sure how to attach these fine letters to the board (Wood Texture Designer Series Paper), but Noel came up with the idea to hang them (At Home with You). She found some red string left over from nest making, and began tying the letters to the board.
Before nailing the board to the card base (Crumb Cake cardstock), I sawed the top and bottom (Ticket Tear Punch) for a nice fit.
Noel wanted to send her card to someone before Christmas, so it needed to say something inside. Look what she chose (Hearts Come Home):
She also wanted it to be displayed someplace where lots of people could see it, so I told her about a place on the internet called FabFri. She thought a Christmas Free-For-All would be perfect.
Thanks for indulging Noel. She would love for you to leave a comment.
Oh, I almost forgot. She wanted me to tell you, if you want any of the things it took to make this card, you can order them at Stampin’ Up, and get FREE SHIPPING on Monday, December 11., 24 hours only. Click on the banner below:
