I began by fussy cutting three flowers from one of the patterns of designer paper in Fresh Freesia.
Sale-a-bration Birthday
Next, I created the background in Granny Apple Green. First, I cut Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and stamped three sprigs in VersaMark. Second, I used a Sponge Dauber to apply Soft Pastel chalk, and used a tissue to wipe away excess chalk. Third, I stamped three leaves, and two different sprigs, all in Granny Apple Green Ink.
For the sentiment, I stamped “Hope you have the best birthday” in Gorgeous Grape Ink.
My stamped layer was backed with Rainbows & Sunshine Designer Paper (1/8″ larger) in Granny Apple Green, and glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The Rainbows & Sunshine Designer Paper is another Sale-a-bration choice for a $50 qualifying order.
Finally, I attached the three flowers; two with Dimensionals, one glued flat, and curled the petals with my fingers.
The Friendly Hello Stamp Set has a nice variety, and the paper is gorgeous, which makes it an excellent selection.
