Yesterday’s card was featuring the darling bear from the Happy Forest Friends Designer Paper, and today I’m showing you the cute owl. This is wonderful paper, so I decorated the envelope flap to match the card. It was simple to cut a 5 1/2″ X 2 1/4″ piece of designer paper, glue it to the flap, and use the flap as a template to trim the excess paper.

“WOO-HOO!”

Here is a picture where you can see how I cut the tree from the corner of the Happy Forest Friends DSP. Then, I glued the cut piece to Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and glued this to a Mossy Meadoe card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ , folded at 4 1/4″.

I also cut a second owl, on a tree stump, along with some leaves, and attached him with Dimensionals. Prior to attaching the second owl, I stamped grass, from the Happier Than Happy Stamp Set, in Pear Pizzazz Ink.

How do you like the sentiment I found it in the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set? It makes me laugh, because it’s so perfect for owls. Isn’t It? LOL!

I stamped it in Soft Suede Ink, used its Sentiment Silhouettes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
