Butterfly Heart

Here is Jaydee’s sketch #426:

Somehow, the circle turned into a heart, and something attracted a bunch of butterflies to it. Where did they come from? You may recognize them from the Sale-A-Bration, Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper. I discovered that 15 butterflies would fill the heart, so I used the Butterfly Duet Punch to cut 3 of each of the 5 colors of butterflies from the paper.

The heart is from the Be Mine Stitched die set, which I cut from Thick Whisper White cardstock. I placed the punched butterflies on Mini-Dimensionals, and arranged them on the heart. I wanted the butterfly heart to stand out, so I chose a background of Whisper White with just a bit of texture from the Subtle Texture embossing folder.

Before adhering the textured background to the Gorgeous Grape card base, I used a die from the Be Mine Stitched die set to make a cute, little, row of doodads.

I found the sentiment, “sent with love,” in Itty Bitty Greetings, which would be appropriate for many occasions. The sentiment is stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink on Whisper White cardstock, and cut with the smallest Rectangles Stitched die. I snipped the end, so it was just the right fit, under a butterfly.
