“Joy To The World” is one of my favorite Christmas Carols, and the Hearts Come Home stamp set uses a fabulous font for its title.  I wanted to see how it would combine with the World Traveler embossing folder.

I stamped “Joy To The World” in Basic Black on regular Whisper White cardstock, and ran it though the Big Shot with the embossing folder. I liked it!

Since Stampin’ Up! coordinates everything, I knew I could figure out what to add by staring at the dies and stamp set. It wasn’t long before I found the row of three small houses. I wanted the houses to be red and green, so I decided to use the Stampin’ Blends in the same method as yesterday’s project.

Here it is, if you missed it:

Merry Christmas Trees Among Snowdrifts

I used Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay, and painted horizontal stripes on Whisper White cardstock. Then, I placed the die of three houses on the stripes, and ran it through the Big Shot, repeating three times, so I ended up with a row of eight houses.

For a bit of embellishment, I tied some Baker’s Twine around the bottom. And, because the stamp set is named Hearts Come Home, I added one little, red enamel heart.

I enjoy mixing the old with the new. As long as it’s Stampin’ Up, I know it’s meant to be together. Thanks for visiting my world!
