The Just My Type Stamp Set is filled with nostalgia. When I was a child, I would sit for hours typing on my father’s Remington typewriter. I learned to type correctly in high school, but have gone back to my “hunt and peck” method.
Remington Typewriter
For today’s card, I typed “hi,” which didn’t take long. LOL Then, I stamped the typewriter and paper in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used Paper Snips for cutting, and placed it on Dimensionals. Behind the typewriter is Masterfully Made Designer Paper, cut with the largest Stylish Shapes circle die.
The Masterfully Made Designer Paper is amazing! And, it’s one of the papers that is discounted 15% this month. You can see all of them below.
The large circle is glued to Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, which is glued to a Blueberry Bushel card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to gluing, I used the “notebook” die from the Gorgeously Made Die Set along the left side. Isn’t it great!
“H-E-L-L-0” is also from Just My Type, stamped in Azure Afternoon Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and cut with the smallest Stylish Shapes Die. The stamp is in one piece, so a tiny bit was snipped from three of the stamped letters when cutting. Overlapping the letters covered the snips, as well as making the word fit the dimensions. Whew!
