“Making spirits bright” is a sentiment from the Joy Of Noel Stamp Set, and the one I chose for today’s card. I stamped it in VersaMark on Basic White Cardstock, sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, and set it with the Heat Tool. Then, I used a Christmas Classics Die for cutting, and placed it on Dimensionals.

Making Spirits Bright

Next, I embossed Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″, with the Merry Melody Embossing Folder. After embossing, I glued it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Once the layer was glued, I used a Christmas Classics Die to cut Basic White Cardstock, a red pattern of Joy Of Christmas Designer Paper, and Shaded Spruce Cardstock. Then, I glued the white and red die-cuts together, slightly offset, allowing an edge of the red to show. The Shaded Spruce die cut was used with a “paper piecing” technique, filling in the twelve small leaves.

After attaching the sentiment, my card was complete.

I was inspired by The Paper Players.
