Nests Of Winter has been a favorite designer paper for a while, and it makes wonderful Christmas cards. I began by fussy cutting the sweet bird, and using Stylish Shapes Dies to cut the square and circles from the designer paper. The green & white stripe was also cut from the designer paper, and glued in place. The bow is from a retired set, stamped in Garden Green, and cut with its die.
Nests of Winter
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder. Then, I glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. The square and circular frame were attached with Dimensionals, along with the bird.
“Merry” and “Christmas” are from the Jolly Holly Stamp Set. I stamped them in Garden Green Ink, and used a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting. “Merry” was glued in placed, and I attached “Christmas” with Dimensionals.
