Good morning! The sun is shining after days of rain, and flowers are blooming, inside and out!

Abstract Bouquet
My abstract floral bouquet developed, because of this week’s cts challenge.
My colors are from the Paper Players.
The small, medium, and large flowers were cut with Ornate Borders Dies. I used a Sponge Dauber and So Saffron Ink for coloring. The stem was also cut with an Ornate Borders Die, using Gray Granite Cardstock. It’s actually a piece of “waste,” and I saved the complete border for another card.
The “vase” was made with four strips of Whisper White Cardstock, colored with Light and Dark Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends. I graduated the color, as in the cts sketch. The strips were cut with the Classic Label Punch, and I snipped the left side.
The background Is Whisper White Cardstock, cut with an Ornate Layers Die, layered on a Seaside Spray card base.
“Happy Birthday” is from the Timeless Tulip Stamp Set, stamped in Gray Granite Ink.
I appreciate you visiting me today, and hope you are inspired!
The Coastal Weave Embossing Folder is my Host Code gift for April. When you place a $50.00 minimum order in April, I will send you the embossing folder in May. Don’t forget to type my Host Code ( JQT3MUZN ) in the box provided.
Thank you for shopping at my store!

Beautiful card Su, with the delicate floral image and die cut white panel! The ink sponging on the flowers gives them that little bit of dimension and graduating the grays on the strips looks terrific. Always lovely to see your cards in the gallery at The Paper Players!
A lovely card, I like the simplicity of the design layout with the flowers and the strips of graduated color.
