Here’s the promised, Painted Poppies “twin” card #2.

Poppy thanks
Remember when I used a die to cut the flower for yesterday’s card, and I saved the “frame”?
Now you can see how I used it. This time, for the centers, I used a different die with Black Foil Paper. I call this paper “patent leather,” because it shines just like it.
The leaves and sentiment were cut from Black Foil mPaper also. The leaves are another, fabulous die from the Poppy Moments Die Set, and “thanks” is from the Well Written Die Set.
Can you see why I named them “twin” cards?
In case you missed yesterday’s card, here it is:

Such beautiful cards! I’m thrilled to find you.
Well, I’m thrilled that you found me! Thank you, Mary!
Two beautiful cards Su – I love the effect you achieved by creating your watercolour-effect paper and the black provides great contrast too. Thanks for playing along with my CAS spring flower challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
Wow! This is wonderful, Su!! Love how you used the “extra” pieces from your previous card – thrifty AND a genius design. Your colors are perfect – I’m a fan of black and pink! – and really say SPRING!! Thanks for sharing it with us this week at The Paper Players! 🙂
What a gorgeous way to get depth and coloring to your florals…and clever to use both negative and positive parts of the dies! Beautiful! Thanks for playing with us at the Players this week and sharing this! Always enjoy seeing your creations!
I just love the look of this technique! So wonderful how you used all of the die cut parts…so creative! I am fascinated by your creativity. Your cards are so clean and attractive! Thanks for all that you do!
Thank you, Faye! That’s such a nice compliment, and I appreciate you!
These twin cards are simply fabulous
Another ‘wow’ card shared. I’ve bought the painted poppies bundle, though your creations now have me thinking that I do need the poppy moments dies also!
I made the Twin Card #1 yesterday and could hardly wait until today to make Twin Card #2. Love them both!!
Thank you for telling me, Sue! So happy to inspire!
This card is just breathtaking ! (as so many of your cards are !) When I scrolled down your post and saw the back & white poka dot paper, I thought that was part of the card, The Black & whit poka dot paper makes the card POP. So I was wondering what the card would look like with that black & white poka dot paper as a base under the layer of white card stock to show just a hint of the pattern ? I may just have to give that I try ……………..
Hi Karen,
Thank you for the nice compliment! I always photograph my cards with Stampin’ Up DSP as a background, and this dot is a great one. Have fun!
This card is just beautiful as is the “twin” from yesterday! I cannot tell you how many of your beautiful cards I have CASE’d Su, but it is a lot. You never fail to wow me! Stuck at home doing social distancing I know what I’ll be doing!
Thanks so much, Helen! This social distancing is craziness, but card makers won’t be bored!
