Today’s Party Pandas project came together with some intention along with an accident.

Party Panda Wants To Hang Out
I began with the color challenge at TGIF: Island Indigo, Night of Navy and Fresh Fig.
I stamped our cute, Party Panda in Night of Navy. The branch from the Seasonal Layers Die Set is in Island Indigo, matching the card base.
The words are from the Labeler Alphabet stamp set in Fresh Fig. Sometimes, it’s nice to come up with your own words, and these letters make it easy. Instead of using glue to adhere the letters, I used mini-dimensionals. They fit so perfectly, I couldn’t resist.
The accident happened with the Whisper White layer. I was using our new Simple Stripes Embossing Folder, and I rolled it through the Big Shot with too much pressure. It would have been fine, if I had glued it down right away. But, I was playing with it, and it started tearing apart. I ended up using the rough edged stripes in a topsy-turvy manner. I think I like it.
Thanks for visiting! Panda was happy to hang out with you!
New subscriber and I continue to be impressed with your creative take on a challenge! Loving what you did with the Party Panda set. It looks like that little guy was made for hanging off a branch (even though the set features it with a balloon). And your saying is the BEST….as is your wonky stripe background. Couldn’t be more perfect, or more delightful! A+++ on this one!
Wow, Susy! Thanks for all of your thoughtful comments. I’m so glad you subscribed to my blog!
Yes, I want to hang out! Your card is super cute and you’re right the pandas will always look sweet. I am really loving your accidental background. In our family we call those sorts of things “happy accidents” because things turn out better than what was planned. I am totally going to try your topsy turvy striped textured technique ;0) Thanks for sharing with us at TGIF this week. Smiles, Elizabeth
Thanks so much Elizabeth. The inspiration from you and the designers at TGIF is fabulous!
I like your background. Good thing you didn’t give up on it!
Thanks Kathy! Some things do end up in the trash. LOL
Very CUTE Su!
Thank you, Barbara! It’s hard to make a card with these Pandas that isn’t cute!
