Peaceful Evergreens with Peaceful Season

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches card challenge. The row of pine trees is from the Peaceful Evergreens Stamp Set, stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 3 7/8″ X 1 1/2″. I gave it a border of Pool Party Cardstock, 1/8″ larger. The background was created with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder and Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. This embossing folder is my gift for the month of October. Peaceful Evergreens

After gluing the embossed layer to a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I created the sentiment. “Merry” and “Christmas” are from the Peaceful Season Bundle, and you can see the entire set in my Product List below. I stamped “merry” in Shaded Spruce Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Don’t you love this banner? Then, I cut “Christmas” from white Glimmer Paper, and backed it with Thick Basic White Cardstock. Both words were cut with Peaceful Season Dies, and attached with Mini Dimensionals.

To complete the snowy scene, I added three Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes. This angle shows the pretty, Glimmer Paper, although, it sparkles even more in person.
