Today’s friendship card is a “quick & easy” version of Saturday’s Playful Penguin card.

Simply Penguins
It’s “quick & easy,” because there is no fussy cutting. You simply stamp the two penguins on Whisper White Cardstock, which measures, 4″ X 2 1/2″. I added a layer of Granny Apple Green for color, cutting it 1/8″ larger, for a 1/16″ border.
The card base is retired, Marine Mist Cardstock, but you should use Balmy Blue Cardstock, which is current, and a shade lighter. I embossed the card front with the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder, keeping it simple, without an extra layer.
The sentiments in the set have a terrific font, and are suitable for a number of occasions. You can click on the stamp set in my Product List to see the details. You can order it here too!
I stamped “Nothing warms the heart quite like a good friend,” in Memento Black Ink, cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die, and placed it on Dimensionals.
TIP: Stamp the sentiment before cutting, to insure that it is straight.
And, that’s it! Simply Penguins, a “quick & easy,” friendship card.
Here’s my fussy cut card, in case you missed it on Saturday. (click on it for details) I forgot to add the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder to today’s card, but you can see it in Saturday’s Product List.
Thank you for stopping by! Simple or more detailed, I think you can see, I love the penguins! On a side note, penguins are often thought of as birds, but I asked Siri, and they are definitely animals.

Su, according to several sources that I checked, penguins are a group of aquatic flightless birds, even though they are scientifically placed in the Animalia Kingdom. Owls are also in the Animalia Kingdom.
All that being said, I adore both penguin cards! ThAnk you for sharing.
Sharon, I’m glad you set the record straight, because I’ve thought of them as birds. Thank you!
