Living in San Diego, succulents are easy to grow, so I fell in love with the Simply Succulents Bundle in the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. The new products will be in my store, and available for ordering January 5, but the current supplies I used for today’s card are in my Product List below.
Succulent Thanks
First, I stamped the large group of succulents in Old Olive Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and used its Potted Succulents Die for cutting.
It was easy to color with Stampin’ Blends in five colors: Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, and Calypso Coral. Can you see how I touched the tips with shades of pink?
Next, I stamped the pot in Terracotta Tile Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and used its die for cutting. It was colored with Light and Dark Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends, and glued to the bottom of the succulents.
The background was kept very simple, making up for the time I spent coloring. The card base is Thick Whisper White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. I used an Ornate Layers Die to cut a piece of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Paper that was glued next to the pot of succulents.
The Potted Succulents Dies include wonderful frames for the sentiments. Don’t you love this stitched, framed “thanks?”
I attached the sentiment and potted succulents with Dimensionals, and my “sneak peek” card was complete.
