My husband drove to Las Vegas with me for the Stampin’ Up! Convention, because he loves to golf. Here we are at a beautiful course in Las Vegas, Bear’s Best, the day before OnStage.
Can you imagine my delight at discovering a new stamp set, dies and DSP were all about golf!?
Everyone received the Designer Paper, Country Club, as a gift at OnStage, and I ordered the stamp set and dies immediately. They arrived today, and I couldn’t wait to share my first card with you.

Golf Club
The first thing I did was cut out the golf ball from Whisper White Cardstock. It has dimples, just like a real golf ball. I accentuated them by partially brushing the ball with Smoky Slate Ink.
And how about those golf clubs! Are they cute, or what??? They cut perfectly from a Silver Foil Sheet.
My golf ball is sitting on the fairway made of Garden Green Cardstock, cut with a Friendly Silhouettes Die. The Golf Club Die Set has a great tuft of grass, but I needed a strip of grass for the Paper Player’s sketch.
TIP: I trimmed some of the blades, so the grass wouldn’t have a perfectly straight edge.
The background is a layer of Seaside Spray Cardstock, with Subtle Textured embossing, on a card base of the same color. I took photos on three different designs of the DSP, so you could take a peek at them.
“Happy Birthday” is written in the sky by using the Well Written Die set, and with the same Seaside Spray to keep it subtle.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. The Clubhouse Bundle will be available Dec. 3 for Demonstrators, and Jan. 3 for customers. The other supplies are in my Product List today, but you’ll need to come back to find the new sets in my store. Put the numbers on your “want list.” Have a great day!

Awesome birthday card and love the whole feel of it..have it filed to case in Dec.
Such a great card for any golfer! I love all the textures on this fun card! Great take on the sketch! Have a wonderful weekend! XX
What a fabulous card showcasing the new golf dies, Su! I wasn’t so sure about the stamp set, but this is awesome inspiration that the dies can be used all on their own. Love it! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Love this card Su – another great sneak peek! I am chuckling to myself though as the size of the golf ball relative to the clubs is making me think of Spaceship Earth at Epcot (can you tell I’m looking forward to a 2020 vacation with MM?!) A great card for a guy (or golfing gal!) for sure.
Hi Joanne! I thought about the club size too, lol! Maybe my game would be better if things were sized this way! You’ll have a great vacation!
Looks like I commented on the wrong card. Your golf card is nice too.
Thank you, Glenda! I’ll be making lots of cards with this golf bundle!
I agree that font looks good in that frame. Just looking st the card before reading your description , I couldn’t figure out how you got the embossing on the card so straight. I never thought about using vellum in that way. I like the coloring on the card, it has a fuzzy look. Just beautiful.
I understand, you’re commenting on my New Year’s card. The TGIF challenge made me think to use Vellum for embossing. I’m happy that you like it! Thank you, Glenda!
A great sneak peek, Su! What a clever idea to create the grass using the Silhouette die! You may have just convinced me that I “need” this new bundle! Have a wonderful week!
Thank you, Ann! I can’t wait to see what you do with is bundle!
Oh I LOVE this golf set! What a great card and a great option for masculine cards!
Yes, it’s always great to have good, masculine stamp sets! Thank you, Wanda!
COOL!
I love your use of the Silhouette die.
This would be perfect for all the golfers in my family.
Would you mind if I CASE this one?
Hi Debra! I’m so glad you like it! CASE away!
Su, when I saw this set in the mini – I knew this was going to be a popular set and the papers are wonderful, too. You did a fabulous job showcasing this set and it’s a great take on the sketch.
