I’ll be at OnStage (a Stampin’ Up convention) in Salt Lake City when you are reading this. I’m so excited for this trip, and can’t wait to share everything I learn! I’m packed and ready to go, so I’ll sneak in one last card before catching my ride to the airport.
I was just playing around with the Stampin’ Blends, and colored this pretty flower from the Delightful Daisy stamp set. I used Cherry Cobbler with Calypso Coral for the flowers, and stamped the stems with Always Artichoke. Not wanting to waste it, I used a Stitched Shape Square for die cutting, and the rest of the card developed from there.
I cut a Whisper White trellis with an Eclectic Layers die, and snipped around the edges to set it free.
The Quilt Builder Die Set gave me the idea to fill in two of the star shapes with DSP. I chose a print of Always Artichoke to go with the solid cardstock I had chosen.
I layered all of this on a striped piece of DSP and a card base of Thick Whisper White.
I was delighted to see my card fit the requirements for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. Lots of die cutting, free, and little leaves.
This is a special “thank you” to you for visiting my blog, and being such a daily support and encouragement to me!
Su – I like how you combined the elements on this card in a unique layout. I appreciate that you regular play along with the Tic Tac Toe challenge and inspire us with your creativity!! Another well done card and hope you enjoy your trip!
Thanks, Teresa! I look forward to your weekly challenges and inspiration!
