For today’s Stamping Sunday Blog Hop I’m sharing three cards, using the Berry Blessings Stamp Set and Berry Delightful Designer Paper, a Sale-A-Bration favorite. I also wanted to show how this stamp set & paper can be enjoyed by three types of stampers: beginner, casual and avid.

The supplies for all three cards are in my Product List below. And, the great news is, the Sale-A-Bration items are FREE with a qualifying $100 order!

Beginner, Casual, Avid

The “beginner’s” card is #simplestamping. With the exception of the punched sentiment, it’s just stamps, ink, and paper. The berries and leaves were stamped from the Berry Blessings Stamp Set on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″.

The white layer was glued to a Purple Posy card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

I stamped the sentiment from the Berry Blessings Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape Ink, used the Everyday Label Punch for Cutting, and brushed the edges with a Sponge Dauber and Highland Heather Ink.

If a beginner doesn’t have the punch, they could stamp the sentiment right on the white cardstock, and still have a pretty card.

The second card is for a casual stamper, taking more time and products. This time, I began with a Purple Posy card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″) topped with a layer of Berry Delightful Designer Paper(4″ X 5 1/4″). Then, I cut a hole in the center using a Wreath Builder Die, and the same die to cut a round of leaves from Granny Apple Green Cardstock.

Applying the “inlaid technique,” I glued the green leaves in the “holes” created in the designer paper. If you look closely, you can see the leaves are “inside,” and not on top of the designer paper.

Next, I used a Wreath Builder Die to cut the “love heart” from the “leftover” piece of Berry Delightful Designer Paper. Before attaching the heart with Dimensionals, I backed it with Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, so “love” would be pronounced.

The third card began with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. I topped this with Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Ornate Layers Die, and embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

The leaves were already cut, with a Wreath Builder Die, from the previous card, and the berries were cut from Highland Heather Cardstock. I glued the berries and the inner leaves flat, leaving the outer leaves free to lift.

Next, I cut the “love heart” from Highland Heather Cardstock, and attached it with Dimensionals.

The bow was made with Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, secured in place on a Glue Dot.

This card has additional detail, created with extra tools and product, that an avid crafter would enjoy.
