Welcome to Stamping Sunday! Today, we are excited to share with you projects highlighting NEW Sale-a-bration products! It’s fortunate for us that Stampin’ Up! decided to offer a second Sale-bration this year, because that means more FREE products with a qualifying order. I chose to show-off two of my favorites: the Summer Shadow Dies, and Be Dazzling Specialty Paper.

Summer Shadows

Let’s start with the one on the right, the simpler of the two. I named it “buttons and a bow.” It has a Rich Razzleberry card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and a layer of Crumb Cake Cardstock.  This layer was originally 4″ X 5 1/4″, but I used a Scalloped Contours Die to cut the right side, making it narrower.

Prior to cutting, I used a  floral stamp from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set to stamp Crumb Cake Ink, randomly, creating my own designer paper. I “stamped off” to make the pattern more subtle.

The “button” flowers were cut with a Summer Shadow Die from Regals 6X6″ Designer Paper. Aren’t they cute in Razzleberry plaid? The leaves were cut with another Summer Shadows Die from Beauty Of The Earth Designer Paper, and the flowers and leaves were glued in place.

Lastly, “hello you” is from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set, stamped in Rich Razzleberry Ink on Crumb Cake Cardstock, and cut with an Ornate Frames Die. The, cute, little bow was created with a Giving Gifts Die and Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. This fabulous paper is one of the FREE Sale-a-bration items, and I suggest ordering ASAP while it’s available.

The card on the left has a bit more detail, but still easy to replicate. The card base is Crumb Cake Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. The first layer is Rich Razzleberry Cardstock, cut with the largest Scalloped Contours Die. The top layer is Painted Christmas Designer paper, cut with the second largest Stitched Rectangles Die.

The flowers and leaves were created with Summer Shadow Dies and Beauty Of The Earth Designer Paper.

The center of the flower is Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. I placed a small piece of the precious paper beneath the center of the flower die when running it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, careful not to waste it.

The sentiment is from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set, stamped in Early Espresso Ink on Painted Christmas Designer Paper. I used the smallest Scalloped Contours Die for cutting, and backed it with Crumb Cake Cardstock for sturdiness. Then, I strung it with Linen Thread, which I taped to the back, and attached with Dimensionals.
