It must be Rudolf

We’ve identified Rudolf by his nose so bright, thanks to a red, Enamel Shape from Santa’s Workshop. And, thanks to Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper, Rudolf has camouflaged fur. His beautiful shape was made with a Detailed Deer die, and I backed him with Tranquil Tide cardstock for some extra body.

Stenciling

I stamped the stenciled vine several days ago, and used the “stencil” on a wedding card. The vine that remains from Sponge Daubing Tranquil Tide ink onto Whisper White cardstock is what you see today.

In case you missed the wedding card, here it is:

Back to Today’s Card

After trimming the stenciled vine, I glued it to a Thick Whisper White card base. The card base was given texture by the Subtle Textured embossing folder.

I stamped “Happiest Christmas Wishes,” from the Dashing Deer stamp set, directly on the stenciled vines with Tranquil Tide Ink. The Stamparatus insured it would be error free. Whew! I didn’t want to mess up, since I saved the sentiment for last. A mistake could have been covered with a label, but don’t you like the way it looks within the vines?

I hope you enjoyed Part 2 of how I used one stenciling application to make two cards.  The supplies for today’s project are listed below, and available at my store.

I’m linking this to the challenge at TGIF, “holiday prep.” I’ll be spending many hours doing what I love; making Christmas cards!

Thanks for visiting me!
