Everyone loves strawberries, and they made a “sweet” theme for today’s birthday card. I found the strawberries in the Storybook Garden Patch Stamp Set, and stamped them in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, three times. Then, I colored the strawberries and leaves with Stampin’ Blends in four colors: Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Real Red, and, of course, Strawberry Slush.

A sale began August 5. Click the pictures in my Product List below to see the discounted prices.

Sweet Strawberries

Next, I used the largest Textured Notes Die to cut Basic White Cardstock, and stamped “happy birthday” in Early Espresso Ink. This sentiment is from the Spring Corners Stamp Set. Then, I glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The cute design, that looks like a fence, was cut from Woven Textures Designer Paper with a Mixed Labels die. The blossoms were cut from Basic White Cardstock with a Perfectly Pears Die. Before gluing them in place, I highlighted the centers with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. After attaching the strawberries with Dimensionals, my “sweet” birthday card was complete.
