It may not be time for Christmas cards, but it’s always time for cute animals, right? You’re going to love this new designer paper, Sweet Stockings, #156281. It’s with an entire suite of cuteness, p.30-31 in the new, July-December 2021 Mini Catalog, #156273. But, you HAVE to get the paper! Oh, and don’t overlook the Matte Decorative Dots, #156289. They look good enough to eat!
It’s available August 3, so mark your calendars.

Elfie the helper
I’d like you to meet Elfie. He chose his name, because when decorating needs to be done, he said he’s just like Santa’s elves. His favorite part of decorating is helping with the lights, if you couldn’t guess.
The paper with the lights was cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die, 1 1/4″ X 3 1/4″, layered on Evening Evergreen Cardstock, cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die, 1 3/4″ X 3 3/4″.
Elfie’s background is another Sweet Stocking’s paper in Pool Party, cut with the largest Stitched Rectangles Die. Isn’t it beautiful with the Evening Evergreen card base ? Evening Evergreen wasn’t my favorite of the new In-Colors when I first saw it, but it’s growing on me, and will be fabulous for Christmas cards. Like black, it makes the other colors pop.
The sentiment, “Ho Ho Ho,” is from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set, stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink, and cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die. It made a comfortable spot for Elfie to sit, atop Dimensionals. I added three Matte Decorative Dots, because Elfie promised not to eat them.
I guess it’s official; I’ve made my first Christmas card for 2021, with Elfie’s help!
I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.
