I love the simple images in the new stamp set, Along These Lines, and the dog is perfect for sympathy cards. I stamped the dog in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. The sentiment, “thinking of you,” was stamped at the same time. It’s from the new, Blooming Phrases Stamp Set, which has the same curvy lines. Don’t they go well together? Next, I used a Fancy Borders Die to cut two pieces of Lovely Garden Designer Paper (5 1/4″ X 3/4″) in a black & white stripe, and glued them to the top and bottom of the white cardstock. Then, I used a second, Fancy Borders Die (first photo) to cut a strip of hearts & dots (5 1/4″ X 3/4″) from 2025-2027 In Color Designer Paper in Strawberry Slush. After gluing the pieces to the stamped cardstock, I glued the layer to a Strawberry Slush card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

To complete the card, I embellished it with the “cut-out” hearts and dots created with the Fancy Border Die.
