Tic Tac (Cat Punch and Painted Autumn DSP) Cat often hops over our fence to go exploring. By the time I found him at the pumpkin patch, he was sitting beside what he called his marvelous fall creation, made with pumpkins in autumn colors.
He manages to get people to help him, saying it’s because he’s cute and polite. He’s definitely not humble!
The pumpkins are from the Pick a Pumpkin stamp set and cut with the Patterned Pumpkin Dies. The tree branch is from a Seasonal Layers die, and the fence is from the Classic Label Punch. Teeny Tiny Wishes was used for “Happy Halloween.”
He told me the scary thing tied on the tree branch is Copper Trim.
I was curious why the pumpkins had to be stacked this way, and he patiently explained it was because of a contest that started today, actually two contests.
On our walk home, I complimented Tic Tac for participating, but to please tell me the next time he decides to leave the yard.
Thanks for visiting my blog and humoring Tic Tac!
Thanks, Claire! That Copper Trim is so much fun to stretch!
Su, this is super fun! I love that kitty and all those fabulous pumpkins! The copper trim adds so much texture! So happy you joined us at The Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week! XX
Su, this is super cute and I love your story about Mr. Cat and all of his fence hopping adventures. Great take on the CTS sketch as well. Thank you so much for playing along with us over at Tic Tac Toe challenge.
Thanks, Felicita! I’m glad you liked my story!
Great take on the sketch!
Thanks, Leigh!
Love you’re interpretation of the sketch – great Halloween elements.
Thanks so much, Tristan!
I love the polka dotted cat. The copper trim does look spooky hanging from that branch. Cats with their curiosity will watch anything. My neighbors beautiful rag doll looking kitten comes to visit me every night for some petting. I wish they didn’t leave her outside every night. It is too dangerous for her and shortens her life. I like the stories you create to go with your cards.
I’m so glad you like my stories, Stella! Those rag doll kitties are so cute!
Charming post and a great card. Love the use of the copper trim in this way and your choice of paper for Tic Tac. You never disappoint!
Thanks so much, Linda! It makes me feel good that you enjoy my stories.
