Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper has wonderful “twin prints” that I used for today’s “Panel Fold” card.

Panel Fold card
The inspiration for my “Panel Fold” design is this week’s challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.
I started with a standard 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ Thick Whisper White card base, and cut a 3/4″ strip from the card front. Next, I cut the Thick Whisper White panel, 2 1/2″ X 4 1/2,” layered on Shaded Spruce cardstock that is 1/8″ larger, to give the panel a 1/16″ border.
The panel is decorated with a stamp of Santa and his reindeer from the Hearts Come Home stamp set. I get excited when I see this stamp, because of wonderful, childhood memories.
The tree (Winter Woods stamp set) is stamped in Shaded Spruce and Old Olive, and cut with a die (In the Woods die set). TIP: I used the Stamparatus to add the two colors to the tree, and then touched the tree with a Baby Wipe to blend the colors a bit.
“Merry Christmas” (retired Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set) is stamped in Real Red, and cut with the Classic Label punch.
The tree and sentiment are raised on dimensionals.
After gluing the reindeer pattern of Under the Mistletoe DSP to the card front, I attached the panel to overlap the inside of the card. I completed the panel with a piece of Under the Mistletoe DSP, which you’ll see in a second.
Here is the same “twin print” DSP for the inside of the card as on the back of the panel. The inside sentiment (Dashing Deer stamp set) is stamped in Black ink, and cut with a Stitched Shapes square die. The left side is ready for a personal message.
I really enjoyed making this “Panel Fold” Christmas card. Thank you for for following along! Keep scrolling for my Product List.
