I’m in Valentine card making mode, so this idea was already formulating before I saw today’s Tic Tac Toe challenge.

Valentine Love on a String
You can see I chose the bottom row across, Sparkle, Love, Free.
What is very difficult to see, is the sparkle. Because of this challenge, I used Wink of Stella on all of the little raised “Hearts” from the embossed Falling Petals folder. I managed to capture a bit of it when holding the card at this angle. It adds a lot, especially in person.
I began by stamping the hearts (Sure Do Love You stamp set) with Real Red Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. I don’t know how it occurred to me to hang them on a string, but I accomplished this by punching tiny holes and using Linen Thread.
I decided the card base would be Crumb Cake, layered with Cherry Cobbler to match the hearts.
Very Vanilla cardstock would make a nice background for the hearts. Before embossing it, I randomly stamped it with “Love” in Sahara Sand Ink from the Weather Together stamp set.
I “sure do love” all of these sparkly hearts. Have a wonderful day!
Very fun!
Thanks Debi! I’m glad you like it!
Love your unique cards. That is one of my favorite folder and hearts are always nice on cards.
I’m so glad you like my cards, Stella. Have a great weekend!
Great vintage appeal on the card!
Thank you, Brent!
