Today’s card was created with a fun watercoloring technique I think you’ll want to try. To begin, I attached the tree stamp (Regal Reindeer Stamp Set) to an Acrylic Block, stamped it in Garden Green Ink, and spritzed it with water. After wiping the edges of the block to remove water droplets, I stamped on Basic White Cardstock. After drying, I used its Reindeer Die for cutting, and placed it on Dimensionals. The stamp wasn’t overly saturated with water, so it worked fine on this paper, and you can still see quite a bit of detail. For a different look, you could use watercolor paper, and more spritzing. Next, I decided on a background of Layering Diorama Dies. I used the third largest to cut from Gingham Cottage Designer Paper in Garden Green, and the fourth largest to cut from Basic White Cardstock.

The green plaid was glued to a Thick Basic White card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″), which I embossed with the Merry Melody Embossing Folder. The white die-cut was raised on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, “Let Heaven and nature sing,” is from the Perched In A Tree Stamp Set, stamped in Real Red Ink on Basic White Cardstock. I used the Double Oval Punch for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

For a touch of sparkle, I added several For Everything Fancy Sequins, but you can see a generous amount in the first photo. LOL! Aren’t they pretty?
