This month’s theme is “All About Flowers.” Flowers are beautiful, and one of the most popular images on greeting cards for all occasions.

This was a perfect opportunity for me to use the Petal Palette Stamp Set from the new Occasions 2018 Catalog. It’s so much fun coloring flowers with the new alcohol, Stampin’ Blends, so I couldn’t wait to get started.

Here is my finished project:

By Su Mohr for Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights; Featuring: Petal Palette; Petals and More; Blender Pens, Flourishing Phrases; For more details click on Visit to go to my blog! #petalpalette #blenderpens #sympathycards #flourishingphrases #stampinup #flowers #voteforme

I began with a Crumb Cake card base, layered with Old Olive, and a top layer of Sahara Sand cardstock. The design from this week’s CAS(E) this sketch was exactly what I had in mind.

I stamped two corner flowers from Petal Palette in Crumb Cake Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. Five Stampin’ Blends were used: Light and Dark Old Olive and Light and Dark Calypso Coral to color the leaves and flowers, and a little Color Lifter. The flowers were easily cut with a die from the Petals and More set.

I stamped the sentiment, “Comfort and Healing To You…” (Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set)  in the middle, and placed the flowers in the corners, popped up on dimensionals.

I completed the sentiment with these words stamped inside, “Praying that your heart will be lifted by the many loving thoughts that surround you today.”

At the last minute, I remembered I had the new Epoxy Shapes for perfect, little tears. I didn’t realize until seeing the photos, I had them upside down. Oops!
