I hope you don’t mind my calling this a masculine card, but my husband confirmed that it fits this description. This remains his favorite stamp set in the catalog, and I can’t argue with a man who sees the beauty in flowers. The trick is to keep it “clean & simple” and use neutral colors.

Masculine Window
I began by stamping the clay pots and flowers from the Welcoming Window Stamp Set on Basic White Cardstock. For the pots, I used Calypso Coral Ink, followed by Sahara Sand Ink. The small plant and flowers were stamped in Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, and Just Jade Inks. I used the Window Flower Box Dies for cutting.
The brick wall was made with the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder, which I ran through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″.
The window was cut with a Window Flower Box Die from Mossy Meadow Cardstock, and glued above the brick wall.
After gluing the white layer to the Mossy Meadow card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″), I attached the clay pots.
The sentiment, “Hey, friend,” is from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set, stamped in Garden Green Ink, and cut with an Ornate Frames Die. The tiny hole, that comes with the die, was begging for some Linen Thread. This is probably the only “ribbon” that my husband likes.
I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.
