Welcome to May! I remember dancing around a May Pole, when I was in elementary school, and it was an exciting day! Equally exciting is ordering from the new, 2022-2023 Annual Catalog in just two more days! So, times have changed, and excitement has shifted, but it’s all good. Right?

One of my favorite bundles from the catalog is Wisteria Wishes, because it not only has beautiful flowers, but vines and leaves as well. I love the way it looks, even after the flowers have disappeared, and today’s card represents the “after-bloom.”

To reminisce about the purple flowers, I chose a Highland Heather card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with purple, Flowering Fields Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″.

Next, I cut three vines from In Good Taste Designer Paper, and glued them on top of the purple paper, equally spaced for the sketch I was following. Then, I cut the leaves from a green section of Flowering Fields Designer Paper, and glued it across the vines, leaving the ends free to lift.

“Happiness grows within” is from the Wisteria Wishes Stamp Set, stamped in Gorgeous Grape Ink on Flowering Fields Designer Paper, and cut with the Messages Die. After attaching the sentiment with Dimensionals, my clean & simple Wisteria card was complete.
