I remember roller skating in my younger days, and it was a wonderful feeling. This Zoo Crew ostrich captures that feeling perfectly, and is ready to pass it along on a birthday card.
After fussy cutting the ostrich, I decided her background would be Lemon Lolly, striped, Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 5″. I framed it with Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Radiating Stitches Die. This die set is a popular, Online Exclusive that will be available the week of May 8. After gluing the frame to the designer paper, I glued both to a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Skating Ostrich
The Zoo Crew Designer Paper is a fussy cutters dream! I think I counted 30 different animals in the pack of 12″ X 12″ double sided paper. If you don’t like fussy cutting, you could crop them out with dies, as I’ve shown here, using Something Fancy Dies. Plus, there are six dies in the Zany Zoo die set to crop animals from the designer paper, or stamped images.

I stamped the sentiment in Crumb Cake Ink, used a Cheerful Daisies Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. This great, label die will be available May 2, along with the entire suite.
