The year 2020 is fast approaching, so this was on my mind as I made today’s card.

New Year’s Dreams
Normally, I don’t begin with the sentiment, but the words from the Playful Penguin Stamp Set would take center stage. I stamped “May your New Year’s dreams come true” in Memento Black Ink on Thick Whisper White Cardstock, and used an Ornate Frames Die for cutting. I love the beautiful font in the fancy frame! Don’t you?

The bottom half of the card front is a piece of Vellum Cardstock, embossed by the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder.
The top half has a swirl that I found in the Stargazing stamp Set. I colored the Red Rubber stamp with Stampin’ Write Markers in five “Bright” colors, and stamped on Whisper White cardstock, leaving a wonderful, rainbow image.

To complete the card, I added sequins from two assortments, Woven Threads and Iridescent, matching the colors in the swirl.

I was inspired by two challenges:
The penguins are so cute, this sentiment is easy to overlook, and I’m so glad I found it.
Another discovery is on page 31 of the new 2020 Mini Catalog; a stamp set with sentiments sized to fit the Ornate Frames perfectly! Yay! The Ornate Frames are carrying over from the Holiday Catalog.
So, you can add Perfectly Framed #151668 to your “want list,” and buy the Ornate Frames today!
All the supplies for today’s card are in my Product List. Thanks for shopping with me, and have a great day!
