The Art Gallery Stamp Set is fun to use with its coordinating Floral Gallery Dies and Painted Texture Embossing Folder. We first saw this set in the last mini catalog, and I’m happy to say it’s carrying over to the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.
Painted Texture Floral
I began this project with the flowers, using the “ink to stamp” technique on the Stamparatus.
First, I placed Basic White Cardstock on the platform of the Stamparatus with the floral stamp on top.
Second, I lowered the lid, picking up the stamp.
Third, I colored the stamp, one section at a time, with four different colors of Stampin’ Write Markers: Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, and Mossy Meadow, and lowered the lid to stamp on the paper. Magnets hold the paper in place for repeated stamping.
The Stampin’ Write Markers are sold in color groups, not individually. You can see the Brights and Neutrals in my Product List below.
Fourth, I used its Floral Gallery Die for cutting, and placed it on Dimensionals.
The background was created with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. The yellow paper at the bottom is Sand & Sea Designer Paper, 4″ X 2″. After gluing the bottom portion, I embossed it with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder.
Prior to gluing the layer to the So Saffron card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″), and attaching the flowers, I taped Bumblebee Gingham Trim to the back.
“Thank you” is from the Art Gallery Stamp Set, stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink, cut with a Floral Gallery Die, and attached with Dimensionals.
