I’m loving the Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper with the Beautiful Motifs Dies!  I’ve created three, “easy-to-make” cards that I’m sharing this week. For today’s card, I cut this Petal Pink pattern from Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Then, I used one of the three, Beautiful Motifs Dies, to make two cuts. If you look at the dies, in my Product List below, you’ll see that three of the dies have dark backgrounds. This indicates that they are “partial cuts,” leaving some intact with the background, and enabling some of the cut to lift. So Much fun!

Next, I glued the patterned paper, 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″, to Crumb Cake Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″.Then, I glued the two layers to a Petal Pink card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Can you see how the partial die-cuts were lifted? I I left a space in the middle for a sentiment, which is from the Impressions Abloom Stamp Set.

I stamped “thanks” in Early Espresso Ink on the designer paper, making sure it was dark enough to show on the patterned paper. Three,  Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems were added, as a final touch. A third of the gems, from the pac, are clear (see the pic in my Product List), which is what I used. They all have pretty, gold highlights.
