Bird Ballad Designer Paper and Stitched Lace make a great combination.

Many Thanks
I’m actually casing a card of mine from May, because it was well received. Clicking on the picture will take you to the details.
Here is the Paper Players sketch I used for today’s card.
This card began with a Thick Whisper White card base, layered with Whisper White cardstock that was embossed by the Subtle Textured embossing folder. Next, more Whisper White was cut with the Stitched Lace Die. I used the edge die in the set to finish the four sides, and placed it in the horizontal orientation. The lace was a spec too large for the vertical orientation, so this was a good solution. Right?
After the background was set, I chose a bird from the beautiful, Bird Ballad DSP, and cut it with a Layering Circles Die. The border was made with a scalloped, Layering Circles Die and Noble Peacock Foil (Old Olive). The foil adds a nice hint of shine.
To complete the Paper Players sketch, I fussy cut some flowers from another piece of Bird Ballad DSP, and added a sentiment.
“Many thanks” is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set, stamped in Old Olive Ink, and cut with a Merry Christmas label die.

Beautiful cards! I love the lace…gorgeous!
Su, this is gorgeous! I love that beautiful lace and the white on white. The little bird looks so happy amongst all those beautiful flowers! I am so happy you had a great trip to NYC. WOW–the US Open is on my bucket list. Have a great weekend! XX
The lace is just gorgeous white on white! Beautiful card Su!
Su, sounds like NY has been wonderful for you. I remember the days full of tennis. “back in the day” I dated a professional tennis player who was on the majors circuit – it was such fun and, oh, how I love the sound of a well placed ball on a racquet. Thanks for the memories! I love your card. There is so much texture on the card, but it still allows that wonderful DSP to shine.
