The Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper is gorgeous, and has a coordinating stamp set and dies for making elegant holiday cards.
Today’s card features a large label, cut from Thick Basic White Cardstock with a Holly Berry Die. It has two leaves attached which I covered with green, Boughs of Holly DSP. I did this by die-cutting the entire label, fussy cutting the inside edge of the leaves, and gluing them on top of the white leaves.
Boughs Of Holly
After cutting the label, I stamped “Season’s Greetings” in Old Olive Ink. This is one of the sentiments in the Leaves Of Holly Stamp Set. The paper beneath the label is Sahara Sand Cardstock, cut with the 4th largest Deckled Rectangles Die, embossed with a Wintry Embossing Folder, and placed on Dimensionals.
The pattered paper is Bough Of Holly Designer Paper, cut with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die, and glued to a Sahara Sand card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The horizontal strip was cut with a Palms Die, which fits perfectly across a 5 1/2″ card front. I used a red piece of Boughs Of Holly DSP for cutting, and glued it across the middle, before attaching the raised label.
For added detail, I used a Holly Berry Die to cut a sprig from Soft Succulent Cardstock. And, I attached three Matte Dots, which make decorative, 3D berries.
