Layered Florals Embossing and Birds
We all love embossing folders, and this new, Layered Florals Embossing Folder has the WOW factor! You’ll want to be sure it’s on your order January 4, 2024, (#162935). I used it with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, which I glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Layered Florals Embossing
The circle of birds is from Flight & Airy Designer Paper, my favorite, Sale-a-bration item. Beginning January 4, 2024, it’s FREE with a $50.00 order, and I suggest ordering right away,(#162977).
It was easy to cut the birds with the fifth smallest Deckled Circles Die. I added a second circle for thickness, and placed it on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, “Thinking of you,” is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used its Wonderful Thoughts Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
Beneath the circle is a looped piece of Silver & White Sheer Ribbon. A single Tinsel Gem was the final touch.

Fun Fold Card with Flight & Airy Paper
Today’s card is a fun fold, the “Triple Fold-Out,” with Flight & Airy Designer Paper. This fold is great for showing beautiful designer paper, and this Sale-a-bration DSP is definitely worth showing!
Flight & Airy
I began by cutting Crumb Cake Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 11″. Then, I scored it four times: 2 1/2″, 3 3/4″, 6 3/4″, and 8 1/4″. After folding and burnishing the folds (mountain, valley, mountain, valley), I prepared the panels.
There are two squares of Garden Green Cardstock, 4″ X 4″, topped with Flight & Airy Paper, 3 3/4″ X 3 3/4″. The third panel has Garden Green Cardstock, 2 1/2″ X 4″, topped with Flight & Airy Designer Paper, 2 1/4″ X 3 3/4″.
The third panel is glued flat, but the first two panels are glued to the Crumb Cake card base with an overlap, so take care not to glue the entire panel.
I cut a larger bird from the DSP to perch on a branch on the front panel. The branch was created with Crumb Cake Cardstock and a Cheerful Daisies Die. This paper is a FREE Sale-a-bration item, with a qualifying order, beginning January 4, 2024.
“Hello” and “Thinking of You,” are from the Garden Meadow Stamp Set, available in Online Exclusives. The sentiments were stamped in Garden Green Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and cut with Stylish Shapes Dies, from our Annual Catalog.
This fold fits nicely in our Medium Envelope, as long as you don’t go overboard with embellishment.

Sneak Peek of Watercolor Melon
If you like watermelon, you’ll love this new stamp set, Watercolor Melon. It’s one of the FREE Sale-a-bration items, with a qualifying order, beginning January 4, 2024.
The stamps are Distinktive, which gives a watercolored look, and I used Garden Green Ink for the whole melon, and Sweet Sorbet for the slice with a bite. The stamp set even has seeds, which I stamped in Memento Black Ink.
Watercolor Melon
The greenery beneath the melon was stamped in Garden Green Ink and Granny Apple Green Ink on Basic White Cardstock.
“Enjoy the sweeter things in life” is from the Sweet Citrus Stamp Set (Annual Catalog), stamped in Memento Black Ink.
After stamping, I used the second largest Deckled Rectangles Die for cutting. This was layered on Garden Green Cardstock, cut with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die, and both were glued to a Granny Apple Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
After stamping, I used the Modern Oval Punch for cutting the whole melon, and tied Black & White Gingham Ribbon around it. If you saw my post yesterday, I said I would show you another use for the punch. Isn’t this great? I fussy cut the slice of watermelon, and attached both with Dimensionals to complete my card.

Filled With Happiness Birthday Card
The Filled With Happiness Stamp Set is in the new, January-April 2024 Mini Catalog, available January 4th. It’s a special set, because it comes with the coordinating, Modern Oval Punch. Everyone loves punches!
I began by stamping the image in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and coloring with Stampin’ Blends in four colors: Boho Blue, Tahitian Tide, Granny Apple Green, and Melon Mambo. Then, I used the Modern Oval Punch for cutting, which punched away the words.
Filled With Happiness
Next, I used the second largest Perennial Postage Die to cut Basic White Cardstock, and stamped the same image a second time. Then, I attached my colored oval on Dimensionals, elevating it above the curved words.
Beneath the white layer is Granny Apple Green cardstock, cut with the largest Perennial Postage Die. The layers are glued to a Boho Blue card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
I love how the Modern Oval Punch makes it easy to raise the center of the design, don’t you!
