Today’s card is a fun fold, the “Triple Fold-Out,” with Flight & Airy Designer Paper. This fold is great for showing beautiful designer paper, and this Sale-a-bration DSP is definitely worth showing!

Flight & Airy

I began by cutting Crumb Cake Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 11″. Then, I scored it four times: 2 1/2″, 3 3/4″, 6 3/4″, and 8 1/4″.  After folding and burnishing the folds (mountain, valley, mountain, valley), I prepared the panels. 

There are two squares of Garden Green Cardstock, 4″ X 4″, topped with Flight & Airy Paper, 3 3/4″ X 3 3/4″. The third panel has Garden Green Cardstock, 2 1/2″ X 4″, topped with Flight & Airy Designer Paper, 2 1/4″ X 3 3/4″.

The third panel is glued flat, but the first two panels are glued to the Crumb Cake card base with an overlap, so take care not to glue the entire panel.

I cut a larger bird from the DSP to perch on a branch on the front panel. The branch was created with Crumb Cake Cardstock and a Cheerful Daisies Die. This paper is a FREE Sale-a-bration item, with a qualifying order, beginning January 4, 2024.

“Hello” and “Thinking of You,” are from the Garden Meadow Stamp Set, available in Online Exclusives.  The sentiments were stamped in Garden Green Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and cut with Stylish Shapes Dies, from our Annual Catalog.

This fold fits nicely in our Medium Envelope, as long as you don’t go overboard with embellishment.
