For today’s card, I’m showcasing the Delightful Wishes Bundle and coordinating designer paper. This fun fold looks complicated, but the good news is, it’s not!

Delightful Wishes Fun Fold
I began with a card base of Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, scored on the long side, 3″, 6″, and 7 1/4″, and folded. The top piece is 3″ X 8 1/2″, scored on the long side at 4 1/4″, and folded in half.
After cutting and folding, I glued Floral Delight Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″, and 5 1/4″ X 1″, to the front of the card base. I also glued Gingham Vellum, 2/3/4″ X 4″, to the front of the top piece. Then, I decorated the top piece with fussy cut flowers, and In Color Resin Dots. “Lots of love” is from the Delightful Wishes Stamp Set, stamped in Old Olive Ink, and cut with a Delightful Wishes Die. I snipped the left side of the label to make it shorter.
The trickiest part of the fun fold is gluing the top piece to the card base. I glued only the portion that touches the card base, while laying it folded, and flat, to insure the edges were even. I glued the front first ( just 1″ of glue), and the back (2 1/2″ of glue).

To complete the inside, I used Floral Delight Designer Paper, 5 14″ X 2 3/4″, which I cut with a Delightful Wishes Die to make a cute pattern.

After gluing the designer paper, I used Delightful Wishes Dies to cut “wishing” from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and the backing from Floral Delight DSP in Old Olive. After gluing “wishing,” I completed the sentiment with “you a happy birthday.” This is from the Delightful Wishes Stamp Set, stamped in Old Olive Ink, and cut with another Delightful Wishes Die. The flower was fussy cut from Floral Delight DSP, and attached with a Dimensional, as a final touch.

The bees are back with a new color palette! For this month’s fun fold card, I’m giving you a sneak peek from the 2025 Scrapbooking Brochure, which will be available January 7, 2025. However, the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set and Bee Builder Punch from the Annual Catalog, are available right now!

Bee Mine Fun Fold
To make the card base, I cut a piece of Petunia Pop cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. I layered this with Basic White Cardstock, 5″ X 3 3/4″, which I had stamped in Bubble Bath Ink with the Sketched Plaid Stamp. Next, I cut Petunia Pop Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 9 3/4″, scored both ends at 3 1/4″, folded and glued in the center of the Sketched Plaid layer.
The frame on the front of the card was created with a Wildflower Designs Die, which I used to cut Basic White and Bubble Bath cardstock. I stamped “bee mine” in Memento Black Ink, and glued the frame in place.

For the inside, I cut Old Olive Cardstock, 4″ X 3″, and layered it with Basic White Cardstock, 3 7/8″ X 2 7/8″. Prior to gluing, I stamped the bee’s trail, and “you’ll always bee the one for me,” in Memento Black Ink.
To make the bees, I used the Bee Builder Punch and Bee My Valentine Stamps. The wings and antennae are heart shaped:)
2024 is coming to a close on this last day of the year, so I’m wishing you all much happiness in 2025! I know Stampin’ Up! has exciting things for us!

This month’s fun fold is a Thanksgiving card, which we celebrate in two days. No worries if you don’t have time to make it, because the card base can be decorated for any occasion.

Thanksgiving Fun Fold
I began with Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 11″, cut in half, 4 1/4″ X 11″. One half was scored: 2″, 3 3/4″, 7 1/4″, and 9″. The other half was cut 4 1/4″ X 4″ and 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″, with one piece remaining for the sentiment on the front.

First, I decided the front would be leaves, colored with five colors of Ink: Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Old Olive, and Cajun Craze. Using a stencil I cut from Vellum, with a Happy Hibiscus Die, I colored Basic White Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 4″. This was glued to the Thick Basic White cardstock, 4″ X 4 1/4″.

Second, I cut two pieces of dotted, Iconic Celebrations Designer Paper, 3/4″ X 4″. These were glued to the ends of Thick Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″. By gluing these first, it helped center the long, scored piece, which I glued in place.

Next, I glued a third piece of dotted, Iconic Celebrations, 1 3/4″ X 4″, to the left side of the front fold. And, the trickiest part, I glued the leaves to the right side of the front fold, so it overlapped the left side. It opens to reveal the center, where I added Splendid Autumn Designer Paper, where I stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze Ink. “Happy” is from the Love This Moment Stamp Set, and “Thanksgiving” is from the Choose Happy Stamp Set.

“So thankful for you” is from the So Sincere Stamp Set. I stamped it in Cajun Craze Ink, used a Cheerful Daisies Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. The last step was adding Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon. It was secured on the back with Tear & Tape, and a knot tied in the front.

Welcome to the September 2024 Fun Folds Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. We’re so glad you stopped by, and we hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from blog to blog.
For this month’s blog hop, I created a Triple Fold-Out card with a favorite, holiday designer paper, Sentimental Christmas.

Triple Fold-Out Card
To create the card base, cut 8 1/2″ X 11″ Lost Lagoon Cardstock in half, giving you two pieces , 4 1/4″ X 11″. Score on the 11″ side: 2 1/2″, 3 3/4″, 6 3/4″, and 8 1/4″. Then, fold on the score lines, mountain/valley, mountain/valley.
Next, cut two squares of Pretty Peacock Cardstock, 4″ X 4″. Decorate the squares with Sentimental Christmas Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 3 3/4″. Glue the squares to the folds, as shown, careful not to add glue to the portion that remains “free.” The end panel is 2 1/4″ X 4″. For more detail, I fussy cut the lantern from a second piece of the DSP, and attached it with Dimensionals. Plus, I added a few Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Season Stamp Set, stamped in pretty Peacock Ink on the DSP, and cut with a Spotlight On Nature Die. After cutting, I attached it with Dimensionals. I chose the round shape, because it fit the curve of the lantern.
This fun fold is great for showing off beautiful designer paper, and it fits in our Medium Envelope. I decorated the envelope flap with another piece of Sentimental Christmas DSP. This was easily done by gluing a 5 3/4″ X 2 1/4″ piece of DSP to the flap, and trimming the excess, using the flap as a template.

For this month’s blog hop, I created a simple fun fold card with one of my favorite, new, designer papers, Splendid Autumn. It will be available September 4th! I started with a Gorgeous Grape card base, 8 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, scored at 3″. The 3″ fold is the front, which I covered with Splendid Autumn Designer Paper, 2 3/4″ X 4″. The same floral paper was used for the inside, 5 1/4″ X 4″, and a solid purple, 2 3/4″ X 4″, to back the card front.

Splendid Autumn Fun Fold
Spotlight On Nature Dies were used to cut circles from the Splendid Autumn DSP. I backed the front, floral circle with Gorgeous Grape Cardstock, and glued it in place. For the circle inside, I used solid gold designer paper, added glue to the back, matched it to the front circle, and lowered it in place.

The sentiment is from the Layers Of Beauty Stamp Set. I stamped “Grateful for you” in Blackberry Bliss Ink on solid purple designer paper, and used the smallest Spotlight On Nature Die for cutting. Then, I backed it with cardstock, and attached it with Dimensionals. For added detail to the front, and inside, I used a Cheerful Daisies die to cut sprigs from Textured Metallic Specialty Paper. I’ll be writing a personal note inside, and sending as a Thanksgiving card.

This month’s fun fold is showing off Lily Pond Lane Designer Paper. The fun fold design looks complicated, but you’ll discover it’s easy! Peggy Noe showed us how to do it during her monthly ZOOM meeting, and I changed the measurements just a spec.

Lily Pond Fun Fold
I began with a card base of Balmy Blue Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, scored on the long side, 3″, 6″, and 7 1/4″, and folded. The top piece is 3″ X 8 1/2″, scored on the long side at 4 1/4″, and folded in half.

After cutting and folding, I added the Lily Pond Designer Paper: 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″, and 5 1/4″ X 1″ to the front of the card base. And, 2/3/4″ X 4″ to the front of the top piece. When gluing the top piece, I glued only the portion that touches the card base, while laying folded, and flat, to insure the edges were even. I also added Basic White Cardstock to the inside, 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″, along with a fussy cut duck.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set, stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink on the DSP. Then, I used a Happy Little Things Die for cutting, layered it for thickness, and glued it in place. For a little sparkle, I used Iridescent Discs across the front lily pads.

Let’s see what the other hoppers have for us.
