Double Easel Plus

To begin, I cut Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 11″, in half, having two pieces, 4 1/4″ X 11″. I scored one at 5 1/2″, and one at 5 1/2″, with the front fold at 2 3/4″, and glued the two together. Then, I cut Floral Impressions Designer Paper: front-4″ X 2 1/2″, middle-4″ X 5 1/4″, and back-4″ X 5 1/4″. After gluing the designer paper to the card base, I used a Stylish Shapes circle die to cut a hole in the middle section.

Next, I used the largest and second largest Stylish Shapes circle dies to cut Thick Basic White Cardstock. I made six cuts, so I would have three, layered, circles. Then, I prepared the flowers and the greenery. The two flowers were cut from Basic White Cardstock, using Impressions Abloom Dies. After cutting, I stamped the flowers with Pretty In Pink Ink and Fresh Freesia Ink. Before gluing the flowers to the circles, I added color with Small Blending Brushes. The centers were cut with Impressions Abloom Dies from Splendid Autumn Designer Paper, and glued in place. The greenery was cut with a Beautiful Motifs Die from Splendid Autumn Designer Paper, layered on Garden Green Cardstock for thickness, and glued to a circle.

The greenery circle was glued to the card base first. Then, I carefully lined up the front, and back, flower circles, and glued them in place. The white center was replaced on the back circle for a personal message.

The sentiment, “celebrating you” is from the Coneflower Celebrations Stamp Set. I stamped it in Blackberry Bliss Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. I hope you enjoyed seeing this Double Easel Plus, as much as I enjoyed making it!

Lovely Day for Fun Folds Blog Hop

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Welcome to the Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Folds Blog Hop. There’s a lineup below to make it easy for you to hop along.

The card I’m sharing today is extra long, and fits perfectly in a legal sized envelope. The card base is Thick Basic White Cardstock, 9 1/4″ X 8″, folded at 4″. I decided to make this “fun fold,” because I wanted to show the length of different colored flowers on this beautiful, Floral Impressions Designer Paper. I cut the designer paper, 9 1/8″ X 3 7/8″, and glued it to the card front,  giving it a 1/16″ border.

Lovely Day

Next, I cut the word “lovely” using two Sweet Blooms Dies. I used Thick Basic White Cardstock for the word, and backed it with Secret Sea Cardstock. After cutting, I glued the two together, and glued it to the card front.

Completing the sentiment, “It’s a” and “day,” from the Sweet Blooms Stamp Set, were stamped in Secret Sea Ink. After stamping, I used the smallest, Perennial Postage Die for cutting, and attached the words with Dimensionals. For some sparkle, I added five, Holographic Resin Dots.

While making this card, I kept singing the Bill Wither’s song, Lovely Day. Now you can sing along:)

Then I look at youAnd the world’s alright with meJust one look at youAnd I know it’s gonna be

A lovely day (lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)A lovely day (lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

Along These Lines Dog for Fun Folds Blog Hop

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Welcome to the Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Folds Blog Hop. There’s a lineup below to make it easy for you to hop along.

I’m calling this month’s design a “circle flap.” It features the darling dog from Along These Lines Stamp Set, combined with Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper.

By Su Mohr for the Fun Folds Blog Hop; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Along These Lines Stamp Set, Spotlight On Nature Dies, Wonderful Thoughts, Beautiful Gallery DSP; #alongtheselines #beautifulgallery #spotlightonnature #wonderfulthoughts #metallicgems #funfolds #funfoldcards #dogs #Stampin'up #cardmaking #handmadecards #

“Circle flap” Fun Fold

I started with a Basic Beige card base, 8″ X 4 1/4″, scored at 2 1/2″. The 2 1/2″ fold is the front, which I covered with Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper, 2 1/4″ X 4″. The same pattern was used for the inside, 5 1/4″ X 4″.

Next, I stamped the dog from Along These Lines Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on a second pattern of Beautiful Gallery DSP, and used a Spotlight On Nature Die for cutting.  Then, I backed the circle with Basic Beige Cardstock, for thickness. After cutting another circle of Basic Beige Cardstock for the inside, I glued all the circles, making sure the border holes matched.

After gluing the circles, I stamped the sentiment, “hi friend,” from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, on Beautiful Gallery DSP. After stamping, I used its Wonderful Thoughts Dies for cutting, layered it for thickness, and glued it in place. For a little sparkle, I added three, copper, Metallic Gems.

Beautiful Gallery Explosion Fun Fold Card

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Welcome to the Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Folds Blog Hop. There’s a lineup below to make it easy for you to hop along.

I can’t wait to show you my card today! Not only is it a new fun fold for me, it’s also a sneak peek of fabulous, Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper from the upcoming 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. I began by cutting one of the scenes 4″ X 4″ to glue to the card front.

By Su Mohr for Fun Fold Blog Hop; Click aromasandart.com to go to my blog for details! Featuring: Beautiful Gallery DSP, Unbounded Love Stamp Set, Stylish Shapes Dies; #beautifulgallery #unboundedlove #stylishshapes #explosioncard #funfold #funfoldbloghop #handmadecards #handcrafted #diy #cardmaking #papercrafting #stampinup

Explosion Fun Fold

Basic Beige Cardstock was used for the card base, which is 4″ X 8 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, making a square card. All of the fun happens on the inside. Get ready!

Take a 6X6″ piece of designer paper, and fold it in half, with the side you want to see, facing you. Then turn it, and fold in half. Unfold it, and fold again, making a triangle. Two of the squares will be flat, and two will be creased. Burnish the folds as you go. This is a bit tricky, and you may want to watch Patty Bennett’s video, if you need a visual. She does a great job explaining it.

It should look as pictured above, and you will be able to fold it into a square. Glue one of the flat sides to the bottom of the card base, as shown. I used Liquid Glue, so I could have wiggle room to make sure the points were perfectly even. Then, glue the other flat side to top of the card base.

Prior to gluing, I completed the squares on the inside. They are Beautiful Gallery DSP,  2 1/4″ X 2 1/4″, topped with with Basic Beige Cardstock, cut with a Stylish Shapes Die, 2″ X 2″. I stamped “Happy Birthday” in Mossy Meadow Ink, on one, and left the other blank for a personal message. I also stamped “May all your wishes come true” in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock. After cutting with another Stylish Shapes Die, I attached it to the card front with Dimensionals. The sentiments are from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set.

Accordion Fun Fold with Woven Textures

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Welcome to the Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Folds Blog Hop. There’s a lineup below to make it easy for you to hop along.

For today’s Fun Fold, I’m featuring the new, Online Exclusives, Woven Textures Designer Paper and the Textured Notes Stamp Set. This “Accordion Fold” is perfect for showing off the fabulous, designer paper. Plus, I combined them with an Annual Catalog favorite, the Friends For Life Bundle.

By Su Mohr for Fun Folds Blog Hop; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Textured Notes Stamp Set, Woven Textures DSP, Friends For Life Stamp Set, Friends For Life Dies, Spotlight On Nature Dies; #woventextures #texturednotes #friendsforlife #funfoldcards #funfolds #funfoldsbloghop #thankyoucards #masculinecards #handmadecards #diy #cardmaking #handcrafted #papercrafting #stampinup #sumohr

Woven Textures Fun Fold

I began with a card base of Basic Beige Cardstock, 11″ X 5 1/2″, scored on the long side, 1 3/4″, 4 3/8″, and 7″. After scoring, the first fold (smallest section) is forward, the second fold is backwards, third fold is forward. That’s all there is to the card base.

To decorate, I cut three pieces of Woven Textures Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 1 1/2″, two pieces 5 1/4″ X 2 1/4″, and one piece 5 1/4″ X 2 1/2″.  I covered the entire inside with designer paper, but you could leave some card base showing, or use Basic White Cardstock for a personal message, instead of the lightly patterned designer paper.

“Thank you” is from the Textured Notes Stamp Set, stamped in Early Espresso Ink, cut with a Spotlight On Nature Die, and glued in place. I added leaves from the the Friends For Life Die Set, cut from Woven Textures DSP, and layered with cardstock for thickness.

“Friend” is  from the Friends For Life Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink on Woven Textures DSP, and topped it with a die-cut “friend” from Woven Textures Designer Paper. I also stamped leaves, from the Textured Notes Stamp Set, in Early Espresso Ink.

Completing the sentiment, “You are seriously the best,” is from the Textured Notes Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock, used a Friends For Life Die for cutting, and attached it with Mini Dimensionals. As a finishing touch, I attached three, Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems.

Delightful Wishes Fun Fold Card

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Welcome to the Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Folds Blog Hop. There’s a lineup below to make it easy for you to hop along.

For today’s card, I’m showcasing the Delightful Wishes Bundle and coordinating designer paper. This fun fold looks complicated, but the good news is, it’s not!

By Su Mohr for Fun Fold Blog Hop; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Delightful Wishes Bundle, Floral & Gingham Vellum, Floral Delight DSP; #floraldelight #ginghamvellum #delightfulwishes #funfoldcards #funfoldbloghop #birthdaycards #sale-a-bration2025 #2025minicatalog #flowers #handmadecards #handcrafted #howto #diy #cardmaking #stampinup #sumohr

Delightful Wishes Fun Fold

I began with a card base of Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, scored on the long side, 3″, 6″, and 7 1/4″, and folded. The top piece is 3″ X 8 1/2″, scored on the long side at 4 1/4″, and folded in half.

After cutting and folding, I glued Floral Delight Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″, and 5 1/4″ X 1″, to the front of the card base. I also glued Gingham Vellum, 2/3/4″ X 4″, to the front of the top piece. Then, I decorated the top piece with fussy cut flowers, and In Color Resin Dots. “Lots of love” is from the Delightful Wishes Stamp Set, stamped in Old Olive Ink, and cut with a Delightful Wishes Die. I snipped the left side of the label to make it shorter.

The trickiest part of the fun fold is gluing the top piece to the card base. I glued only the portion that touches the card base, while laying it folded, and flat, to insure the edges were even. I glued the front first ( just 1″ of glue), and the back (2 1/2″ of glue).

To complete the inside, I used Floral Delight Designer Paper, 5 14″ X 2 3/4″, which I cut with a Delightful Wishes Die to make a cute pattern.

After gluing the designer paper, I used Delightful Wishes Dies to cut “wishing” from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and the backing from Floral Delight DSP in Old Olive. After gluing “wishing,” I completed the sentiment with “you a happy birthday.” This is from the Delightful Wishes Stamp Set, stamped in Old Olive Ink, and cut with another Delightful Wishes Die. The flower was fussy cut from Floral Delight DSP, and attached with a Dimensional, as a final touch.
