I was still thinking of the colors from Sunday’s Paper Players card, so used them for a second Christmas card: Merry Merlot, Pretty Peacock, and Cajun Craze.
Plaid Tree
I began by stamping the tree from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock on Whisper White Cardstock. The coordinating Pine Tree Punch made cutting a breeze.
Merry Merlot is a nice Christmas color for the card base, which I layered with Cajun Craze, and topped with Whisper White.
The two layers were cut with Stitched Rectangles Dies, and the white layer was embossed with the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder.
Using the Fab Fri sketch for inspiration, I cut a strip of In-Color 6X6 DSP in checked, Pretty Peacock. Here’s the sketch.
Next, I stamped the sentiment (Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set) in Merry Merlot ink, and used a Merry Christmas label die for cutting.
A star sequin found its way to the top, and a bow of Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, completed the sketch.

Welcome to the Kreators Blog Hop, where the theme is “brides and babies.” I chose to feature Stampin’ Up’s! Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set and Sweet Silhouettes Dies. They combine perfectly to make this card for a bride.
Forever
You can’t go wrong with a white card for a bride, so I began with a Thick Whisper White card base. This is topped with more white; a layer that was cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die, and a gorgeous, large branch (or tree) that was cut with a Sweet Silhouettes Die.
Next, is the couple under an umbrella from the Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set. I stamped them in VersaMark on Whisper White Cardstock, sprinkled them with Gold Powder, and set the powder with the Heat Tool. They are cut with a Rectangles Stitched die, and placed on Dimensionals.
This picture shows the shine of the gold, heat embossed, image.
For the sentiment, I used “Forever,” also from the Sweet Silhouettes Die Set, cut from Thick Whisper White Cardstock. I gave it an extra layer, so the “f” and “r” hanging over the edge are sturdy.
Three little Epoxy Droplets were added as a final touch for my bridal card. Isn’t it a perfect card for a bridal shower?

Welcome to this week’s Paper Players color challenge.
Foil Boughs
The colors are Merry Merlot, Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze, and a neutral. I chose white.
My layout is from Freshly Made Sketches.
First, I captured the color, Merry Merlot, in the card base, followed by a layer of Whisper White Cardstock, embossed with the Subtle Textured embossing folder.
Next, I stamped the circle in Merry Merlot ink, using the stamp from the swirly Frames stamp set. I usually stamp before embossing, but this worked.
The boughs and pinecones were cut with dies from the Beautiful Boughs die set. A piece of Noble Peacock Foil was used for the boughs, and Cajun Craze Cardstock was used for the pinecones.
TIP: I positioned the pinecones under the boughs before gluing them on the circle.
The sentiment, “Merry Christmas,” is from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set, and it fit “perfectly” in the label die from the Beautiful Boughs die set.
The last detail was adding a few Merry Merlot dots, cut with the 1/16″ Handheld Punch.

My Snowman Season Bundle arrived, and I couldn’t wait to ink up a snowman!
I was especially anxious to try stamping my snowman in the new Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink, and I was delighted with the results. This ink comes in three colors: Silvery Shimmer, Celestial Copper, and Golden Glitz. Fun!
Simple Snowman
After stamping the snowman, and his stick arms, I punched everything out with his coordinating punch. Placing him on Dimensionals was a “no brainer.”
The new Shimmery Crystal Effects was also begging to be used, so I dotted it around the sky for glistening snow. It’s easy and fun to use. You’ll love it! Can you see it?
The snowman’s realistic background is one of the wonderful prints from the 6″ X 6″ Feels like Frost DSP, and goes beautifully with the Seaside Spay card base.
“Merry Christmas” is from the Snowman Season stamp set, which I stamped in Blueberry Bushel Ink, right on the DSP.
My inspiration was from CAS(E) this sketch.
This is such a quick & easy card; perfect for a beginner, or someone in a hurry!

Let’s just say, this card was Cat’s idea, and it’s all about the “boo.”
Cat’s “boo-ti-ful” tree
Cat had been nudging me to feature him on a Halloween card. After all, he reasoned, he was a black cat for Halloween, when Stampin’ Up! introduced the Cat Punch a while ago. I agreed, as long as we could use the Fusion challenge sketch and colors.
Cat was excited to make a “boo-ti-ful” tree, and found the tree die in the Sweet Silhouettes die set. The tree was cut from a piece of See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper, giving it a pretty pattern.
“Boo” was made with Hand-Lettered Prose Dies, also cut from See A Silhouette DSP. This DSP happens to be the one I used for photographing.
It was cat’s clever idea to hang the letters in the tree. He plans to hide behind the wall, and pounce on anyone who gets near. Cat thinks “boo” is giving trick-or-treaters fair warning.
Using the Fusion sketch as a guide, cat’s wall was made with Whisper White Cardstock, cut with a Stitched Rectangles die, and embossed with the Brick & Mortar embossing folder.
The background for the scene is Whisper White Cardstock on a Pumpkin Pie card base. Nothing says Halloween like orange and black, and a black cat.
