Country Woods Designer Paper is perfect for masculine cards, and that’s how I began today’s Father’ Day Card. I used the pattern, with all the colors, to make the large pinwheel. The Round We Go Die makes this 3D shape easy and fun to do.
Father’s Day Pinwheel
For the background, I used a second, Country Woods pattern, 4″ X 5 1/4″, to layer on a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. This pattern was given extra texture with the Timber Embossing Folder. Prior to gluing the large pinwheel, I added two more pinwheels, cut from a third pattern of Country Woods DSP. This was cut at the same time, producing the two shapes.
Just for fun, I topped the pinwheel with a Country Birdhouse bird, cut from a 4th pattern of Country Woods DSP. After stamping the bird in Memento Black Ink, I used a Country Birdhouse Die for cutting, and layered the bird with cardstock for thickness.
“Happy Father’s Day” is from the Trusty Tools Stamp Set, cut with a Hearts & Hugs Die. I stamped it in Misty Moonlight Ink on the DSP, and attached the label with Dimensionals.

I’m loving the combination of dark blue and white tile with oranges, die-cut from the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper. Another tile pattern was used to decorate the envelope flap.
For today’s card, I used a Citrus Blooms Die to cut the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper in a Night of Navy tile pattern. After cutting, I glued it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ , folded at 4 1/4″.
“hello” oranges
Next, I used Citrus Bloom Dies to cut oranges and blossoms from the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper. After cutting, I attached them with Dimensionals.
“Hello” is from the Citrus Blooms Stamp Set, stamped in Night Of Navy Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping, I used an Unbounded Love Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the card, I added three Textured Dots.

The Silver Dollar Eucalyptus tree originated in Australia, and is prolific in San Diego. I love this pattern of leaves in the Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper, that I used for today’s card. And, don’t miss the sale announcement below!
Silver Dollar Eucalyptus
Doesn’t it look like the Silver Dollar Eucalyptus tree that is growing in my front yard?
To begin, I glued the Frames & Flowers DSP, 3 3/4″ X 5″, to a Smoky Slate card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I used a Friends For Life Die to cut the heart from solid, Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper, and a second heart for the Silver Foil frame.
“Love you” is from the Friends For Life Stamp Set, stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Happy Little Things Die for cutting, and placed it on Mini Dimensionals on top of a piece of Silver & White Sheer Ribbon. The ribbon is adhered with Tear & Tape beneath the sentiment label.
To complete the design, I added a “punch-out” branch with Dimensionals, and three Smoky Slate Pearls.

Two of the most beautiful pages in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog are pp 34-35, showcasing the Mediterranean Blooms Suite Collection. The designer paper is stunning, combining oranges and lemons with dark blue tile.
We all love dies that cut images from designer paper, and this set provides oranges galore!

For this week’s Global Design Project I chose a “Distinktive” stamp set, You Are Beautiful, from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. By stamping-off the leaves and berries, I was able to achieve a lighter shade of Old Olive Ink on the Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. Stamping-off means inking your stamp, then stamping two times without re-inking. After stamping, I used the second largest Perennial Postage Die for cutting.
“You are a shining light”
Next, I used Textured Floral Dies to cut the branch (Old Olive Cardstock) and berries (Calypso Coral Cardstock), and doubled them for thickness.
“You are a shining light” is from the You Are Beautiful Stamp Set, stamped in Old Olive Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock, and cut with the second smallest Perennial Postage Die. I glued the berries to the sentiment label, along with a 1 5/8″ X 1/4″ strip of Calypso Coral Cardstock.
The background is Country Woods Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, embossed with the Timber Embossing folder, and glued to a Basic Beige card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Prior to gluing the green stamped layer to the embossed timber layer, I tied Linen Thread around the green layer, and added a bow. Then, I glued the die-cut branch, and attached the sentiment label with Dimensionals. To complete the design, I added three Brushed Brass Butterflies.
